As a premium-paying passenger logging 3 million - 1.5 million on United alone, I HATED flying to So America on those awful 767s in Biz (I'm 6'4''). When they changed the cabins out, I couldn't believe how incredible they were. I think they are better than some international carrier's first class product. I know what you mean by ALMOST flat, but it's very minimal, better than sliding down on other carriers. Also, for those like me who often flies on a "Z" fare (which isn't upgradeable to F) there's more value with the new seats. I wish they had the sliding privacy screens between seats like BAs.
