Up, Up and Away for the World's Very First Instagram Jet
Just last month, the very first Instagram contest to decorate an airplane launched. Now, the results of that contestan Airbus A320 sporting hundreds of original Insta-imageshas also been launched.
Vueling, Spain's low-cost carrier, celebrated flying their 50 millionth passenger with this contest, and the livery that ended up on the plane conveyed their gratitude: "thanks" on one side and "gracias" on the other.
Lucky Instagrammers who had their images chosen, images that had to depict a destination served by Vueling, won roundtrip flights to anywhere Vueling operates. Niiiice.

All Aboard Vueling's Instagram Jet!
Heyremember when KLM used Facebook to cover a plane in your photos, creating a very unique livery?
Well we're happy to say that another airline has decided to let you dictate its airplane's looks, but this time it'll be using Instagram. Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling is asking their Facebook fans to upload images of Vueling destinations* to their Instagram accounts for the chance at winning 1 of 50 free roundtrip flights and a spot for their photo on the exterior of a Vueling jet in inside a printed book that travels with that special aircraft.

Vueling Parodies Great Aviation Moments in Movie History
We don't talk about the Spanish carrier Vueling, but then sometimes no news is good news. The exception is when an airline pulls a stunt that pokes fun at themselves or the industry, as Vueling has just done with their crew Christmas video.
Watch it above. The idea is that classic aviation scenes from iconic movies are acted out by Vueling staff in parody. A prime example is the scene from Snakes on a Plane, recreated by Vueling with snakes arm sock puppets.
Of course we love stuff stuff that's winky like this, but even more we appreciate that it's not loaded with "Merry Christmas/Tis the Season" stuff. Can you name all the movies they've referenced?
