TAM Introduces a Homey New First Class Cabin and We Likey

Cue the oohs and ahhs with this new first class seat from our friends way south of the border, TAM. The airline has unveiled its plans for an overhauled premium cabin for its new 777s they will take delivery of later this year.

The concept the refreshed cabin wants to convey is "From Home To Home." Basically this means they've created a comfy living space with all the the bells and whistles of a typical comfy space in your own home. Each of the four seats in first class will sport a wide seat, individual closets, a lamp, dining table, cushions, and a Nespresso service for in mid-flight pick-me-up. From the looks of it, the seat could pass for an executive office with its wood-grain, calming grey and splash of spring green.

Air New Zealand Sees Another Airplane and Has It Painted Black

Apologies if the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black" is now stuck in your head...

Let's talk planes. Let's talk about planes painted in, well, jet black. We've already gushed over the cool new(ish) paintjob Air New Zealand has given a few of their jets and now yet another one will be joining the sleek team.

Air NZ accepted the keys to a striking black ATR 72-600 on October 31st—the perfect day, really. Regardless of launch date, we are huge fans of this livery.

The airline has been known for taking rugby very seriously and the planes are one way they pledge their allegiance to their national 'footy' team, the All-Blacks.
