Russians: Terrible Drivers, Flexible Lovers

We've experienced our own hair-raising moments in automobiles on Russian roads. When we had a driver merrily telling us that 15 minutes of the nightly news was devoted to car accidents from the local area--as he overtook on a hill and a curve without indicating--we couldn't act surprised. But now it's official: Russians are really, really bad drivers.

At a minimum, they're the worst in Europe. A recent poll established that 36% of Russians regularly break speed limits, 30% admit to having driven drunk, and 23% of them think nothing of overtaking in a zone where it's not allowed.

Scariest, however, is the result that 25% of Russians claim to have had sex while driving. We'd like to see the stats for Jaunted readers but can't imagine that a quarter of all the people we know have managed this feat. Who would've thought the Russians were such passionate drivers?
