'Twilight's' Kristen Stewart Demonstrates How Not To Handle A Passport

With current hot starlets like Twilight's Kristen Stewart constantly flying out of LAX all the time, it's no wonder the paparazzi stake the place out. However, when Stewart flew back to Vancouver on Alaska Airlines to continue filming Eclipse after the weekend, she wasn't looking much like a starlet at all. In fact, she kinda resembled how we might look if we traveled after having been bailed out of jail after a fight with a bartender over the ratio of margarita mix and tequila. In other words: she don't look good.

On top of it, she is barely hanging onto that passport. Note to impressionable young international travelers: this is how not to handle your personal documents in public places. We're not asking you to wear a fanny pack or even get one of those hidden stash pocket things, but just don't be so careless with it. And with Kristen surrounded by grabby paparazzi, you'd think she'd be extra careful with her personal information. One slip while shuffling that heinous bag, and she's got no passport to return to filming in Canada and some guy has a new lot to add to the eBay.

A Little Airport Security Won't Stop Rihanna From Leaving New York

You can leave your hat on: Rihanna lines up for security at LAX with a hat and sunglasses that do nothing to throw off the paparazzi.

After renting an apartment in New York for the summer, the pint-sized pop star is starting to make public appearances again after a tumultuous year which included testifying against ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in a California court. A few weeks ago, she was spotted riding a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain and last week she made her first concert appearance during Jay-Z's 9/11 benefit concert at Madison Square Garden for a performance of "Run This Town." She repeated that performance during her recent trip to Los Angeles for the premiere of Jay Leno's new show, although her appearance was overshadowed by Kanye West's VMA-related antics.

Paltrow Lets It All Hang Out (Of Her Tank Top) At Barcelona's Airport

If only we had a dime for every time we've flashed our bra at the airport security check, we'd have just about enough to buy a stick of gum. And you know why? Because we are not Gwyneth Paltrow, who apparently decided that the weather in Barcelona was cold enough to wear a scarf, but so hot that a handkerchief of a tank top would do for the flight home.

Alas, the tank top didn't do very well, and now pictures of Paltrow not only looking haggard at the checkpoint are out on the web, but they include her flesh-colored bra, which, unless you do a double-take, looks like fully nude side-boobage. We're going to jot this down in our no-nos list of in-flight fashion, for obvious reasons. Also, doesn't that scarf kind of look like a neck brace until you see the whole picture?

Leonardo DiCaprio: King of the Travel Pillows?

Despite what we may think about some of the new-fangled Travel Pillows out there on the market, it seems that the good old-fashioned neck pillow remains the most popular.

Leonard DiCaprio, taking a vacation from filming in Paris, was spotted at the Nice airport in France with him mom and with his travel neck pillow attached to his backpack. We're just happy he wasn't still wearing it after deplaning, like this passenger did. And thank god it's not a Komfort Kollar.

Interested in buying a travel pillow? Brookstone, a store that sells stuff you really don't need but is ever-present at airports and stocked with travel gear, sells a Tempurpedic Transit Pillow for $75. Flight 001 has a cheaper one for $16. Or you can upgrade to a vibrating neck pillow for $34.

Bradley Cooper is Obviously Not on The No-Fly List

Hmm...perhaps we should start traveling with hunky Hangover star, Bradley Cooper? The so-hot-right-now actor and possibly Renee Zellweger romance was spotted checking himself into first class on Virgin America over the weekend, bound for NYC.

Unlike our recent travel partner, Bradley was able to actually check-in at one of the airport kiosks, something that the folks innocently listed on the No-Fly list no can do.

Another perk for Bradley? Flying first class ensures that he doesn't have to pay any extra checked baggage fees. The folks in coach however, now have to cough up a $20 fee. Main Cabin Select passengers--those who pay a little bit more for legroom, free movies and food--also skip paying the checked baggage fee.

Mischa Barton is Tempted Again...By a Travel Pillow

Mischa Barton has had a rough go of it lately. First, there was incessant scrutiny about her cellulite from the press. Then came a very public DUI arrest. Even losing her "extra" poundage didn't seem to help her image or suffering career as her partying habits started to spiral out of control.

Just the other weekend, she pulled "a Britney" and was placed on an "involuntary psychiatric hold" at a Los Angeles medical center. After a few days, she was released and sent back to work on an upcoming CW show called, The Beautiful Life in which she plays a down and out model.

Because that's a lot of drama to endure--heck, we still can't function normally after a wild Friday night out---we'll have to forgive her for contemplating a fellow passenger's travel neck pillow after arriving in JFK on a flight from Los Angeles.

Mischa, we strongly hope you make the smart decision and just say "No" to this silly type of travel pillow but you know, we all make mistakes sometimes. At least it's not a Komfort Kollar. Also, note to self: do not stand next to celebrities getting their picture taken at the airport after a long cross-country flight. You could be photographed by the paps!

Lily Allen Gets A Head X-Ray In Belgrade Airport

Do not try this at home, even though Lily Allen definitely was far from home when she did it. While leaving Serbia after performing at the Exit Festival this week, the "Smile" singer got "bored at Belgrade airport" and hopped onto the X-ray machine at airport security.

Looking at the photo of the stunt, we say that Lily is lucky she pulled this in Belgrade because it would not be tolerated in the US or Europe, unless she's perhaps headed out of a private hangar with a TSA staff with a sense of humor. But since we know that TSA staff with senses of humor don't exist, Lily better keep her airport antics limited to the former Yugoslavia.

Now Lily heads to Dublin for the Oxegen Festival, and we continue following her as one of the most irreverent travel twitters out there.

Kendra and Hank Head For A St. Lucia Honeymoon

Newlyweds and "Kendra" stars, Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett, were spotted Sunday catching a departing flight out of LAX bound for their swanky St. Lucia honeymoon. The 24-year-old Playboy Playmate and 26-year-old NFL player were married on Saturday at the Playboy mansion in Los Angeles thanks to Kendra's ex, Hugh Hefner. One of the bridesmaids, Kendra's former "Girls Next Door" co-star, Holly Madison, dished for People:

She looked like a princess. It was a beautiful setting for a wedding. [Kendra and Hank are] definitely ready for their honeymoon now. They need a vacation.

In the airport, Kendra was wearing a t-shirt proclaiming her status as a “High Maintenance Bride,” which may have just been an attempt to take attention away from her growing baby bump and redirect it towards her more famous assets. Kendra and Hank's bundle of joy is due on Christmas Day and, yes, her ex will also be the godfather.

Justin Timberlake Wards Off The Ladies With Armed Guard at CDG

Over the weekend, Justin Timberlake was spotted arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, rolling his own Louis Vuitton bag and being escorted by an armed guard, presumably to keep away screaming teenage girls.

Last night, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was also spotted with a guard in the Paris airport, only this guard wasn't trying to protect Meyers, he was trying to protect the general public. Apparently, the "Tudor" was on a bit of a bender as he threw money on the floor and drunkenly bragged about his wealth. He reportedly told the officers, "You wanna hit me? Hit me!"

We wonder if he was upset about the new baggage fees, which seem even worse now that there is a resolution in the House of Representatives to have the TSA take control of the size of carry-on bags. If passed, instead of each airline being responsible for screening the size of each passenger's bag, the TSA will presumably screen bags as people are going through the metal detectors.

This is supposed to insure a uniform standard for the size of all carry-on luggage, but will also mean your only choices in the airport will be to go through one more bureaucratic step or be gouged by the airlines to check your luggage. Maybe its time to get to know the Amtrak schedule a bit better.

Heidi and Seal Indulge In A PDA Outside Of LAX

Heidi Klum was spotted kissing Seal goodbye at LAX Sunday before boarding a plane to NYC. Heidi headed to the Big Apple to attend last night's CFDA Awards, where The Council of Fashion Designers of America celebrates the biggest names in fashion, and Klum was included with these stars, without regard to what Karl Lagerfeld says.

Since Heidi was taking along some special cargo—kids Leni and Henry—she will probably appreciate the announcement LAX made recently when they unveiled a $7 million radar system designed to eliminate aircraft runway incursions. LAX is the third airport to install the radar, after Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego.

Now that LAX is safer, both you and Heidi can feel even better about taking advantage of the great deals to Hawaii this fall. The LA Times Travel Blog found fares between Los Angeles (LAX) and Honolulu (HNL) as low as $214 round trip, including tax, through Dec. 16 via Airfare Watchdog. Similar deals exist on Travelocity, where fares run around $235; no doubt Klum needs a vacation after all the dissing on her lately.

Posh Spice Takes Fashion Tips From Her Chauffeur

While we're now accustomed to watching Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice strut through airports in decidedly un-airplane friendly gear, we usually just chalk it up to celebrity image. More often than not, this means that Posh flouts comfort and walks through security or the baggage claim in 5-inch stilletos with a tailored suit or structured shoulders so big that we're thankful she has a seat in first class.

In her recent airport "photo shoot" at London's LHR, she's sporting her usual uniform of stilettos and skin tight jeans as well as a white Hermes Kelly bag that could easily fit two Olsens inside (or in this case, two Posh Spices). We can look beyond this, save for the questionable choice to also rock a chauffeur's hat.

Is this a new airport fashion statement or did she just snag this off her driver so she wouldn't be recognized? We're thinking it's the former unless the cabin pressure really did a job on her 'do.

Why So Glum, Celebrity Chums?

We're in the doldrums of February right now and some days it's hard enough to leave the house, let alone travel somewhere. We know. We're feeling it. But things aren't going to be like this forever!

Look around you. Do you have an adorable dog? Did you just get back from a tropical vacation? Are you chowing down on some fast food or meeting your lover at the airport? Well, you've got that going for you. You could smile even while you know everyone in the world is watching you... but then we'll think you're crazy.
