Here's your gratuitous Friday morning shot of Virgin America's in-flight pj party. Victoria's Secret models Selita Ebanks and Miranda Kerr hosted the fun on board Virgin's flight 317 on Wednesday night, and that's Samantha Tannehill pictured, working it in the aisle.
In addition to all the ogling that went on--and we hear there was plenty--passengers also got makeovers and take-home totes full of beauty products. Guests also got their own pj sets to wear at a pre-flight reception, though we doubt anyone wore them as well as the Angels.
Virgin America's inaugural Victoria's Secret flight touched down at LAX yesterday, dropping off 27 runway models on their way to the lingerie company's annual fashion show. Some of the women will be back on board on November 28 for VA's in-flight PJ party.
And while we like models as much as anyone, we also like digging up dirt on where Virgin might fly next. After our speculative post last week, we figured Seattle was a lock for future service. Until we contacted airport spokesman Perry Cooper, that is:
We do not have any plan at this time for Virgin America to come to Seattle. We have been in talks for a couple of years with Virgin, as we are always looking for appropriate additions for our Northwest travelers. But we have not determined any plan or agreement.
Now, this certainly doesn't mean VA won't ever touch down at Sea-Tac, but it does make us more apt to believe Miami is the next destination for the airline.
A Jaunted Exclusive: Virgin America will host its first in-flight PJ party on flight 317 from JFK to LAX on November 28. Passengers can look forward to an in-flight runway show, makeovers and other activities. And, oh yeah, two of these Victoria's Secret supermodels.
Selita Ebanks and Miranda Kerr will be hosting the party. It will be their second flight on Virgin America in three weeks, after a November 12 charter takes them to the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show. That plane will then be named "Runway Angel" in honor of the ladies.
If you don't already have tickets for the flight on 11/28, don't fret. Virgin America is giving away three pairs of tickets along with some other goodies.
