Think You Could Survive The Hunger Games? There's a Tour for That.
With the popularity of The Hunger Games book and movie, it was only a matter of time before someone created a Hunger Games-themed getaway in the North Carolina forest where the movie was filmed.
The recently launched Hunger Games Fan Tours let participants "explore DuPont State Recreational Forest with your Sponsor to discover the locations used in the movie."
Fans will also learn fundamental survival skills to the Hunger Games, like orienteering, camo-face painting and shelter building. "We want to also teach them to appreciate the forest...this is a positive way we can help our community," explained Tammy Hopkins of Hunger Games Fan Tours.
