A Honeymoon Fit For 'The Bachelor': Jason Mesnick and Molly Choose South Africa
When it comes to The Bachelor TV show, we've only really cared about the most recent seasonsthe fourteenthbecause the star Jake Pavelka is a pilot, but now that he's off and attempting a relationship with his pick, we've lost all interest in the show. That is, the news landed in our inbox that Jason Mesnick, the Bachelor from the thirteenth season, not only actually got married recently to his choice from the show, but that they're taking a two-week luxury grand tour around South Africa.
They're actually down there right now, in the middle of a trip from Africa Answers, which organized the route which will take Jason and Molly from vineyards to a private game reserve, and from the luxurious Rovos Rail train to a five-star hotel in Johannesburg. It's definitely a far cry from the simple life that Molly left behind in Grand Rapids.

'Bachelor' Pilot Jake Pavelka to Join Buzz Aldrin on 'Dancing With the Stars'
Hottie commercial pilot Jake Pavelka, who has just completed his season as "The Bachelor" by proposing to Vienna Girardi, won't be off your television for long. It was just announced that he will be joining the cast of the 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars," to foxtrot and tango with Chelsie Hightower as his professional dance partner. It makes us wonder how long it's been since Jakey actually did his regular job: piloting flights for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. But so long as the public's fascination with foxy flight crew continues, Jake will be on one show or another.
Not for nothing, he will be a part of a crazy "Dancing With the Stars" cast, a group of characters who pretty much guarantee great ratings. We're talking gossip rag fodder like Kate Gosselin, Pamela Anderson and Nicole Scherzinger along with real personalities like Buzz Aldrin, Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek and ESPN's Erin Andrews. Even one of our favorite tweeters, NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, will salsa his stuff with partner Cheryl Burke.
So should you watch the season? We can only say that we might tune in a few times to catch Aldrin and Ochocinco, but we think that Pavelka is past his 15 minutes of fame. Time to return to the skies, bucko.

'The Bachelor' in Saint Lucia; Follow in the Footsteps of Jake and Vienna
We have a confession to make. We didn't start watching this 14th season of the reality TV show "The Bachelor" until we heard that they were taking the final few episodes on the road to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia. It also helps that the Bachelor himself, Jake Pavelka, is a commercial airlines pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines (yea, we've never heard of them either). Jake whisked his last three girls, Tenley, Gia and Vienna, to the island known as a honeymoon paradise, in order to make a decision.
Since we were recently on St. Lucia as well, we've got a bit of a behind-the-scenes with some of the major locations from this "Bachelor" finale.
Check out our "Bachelor" in St. Lucia extras after the jump! SPOILERS ALERT!

The Newest 'Bachelor' is a Pilot for Atlantic Southeast Airlines

ABC's dating reality show, "The Bachelor", is about to head into its 14th season--yes, 14th season--and thanks to a long line at our grocery store the other night we learned from People magazine that the newest bachelor will be Jake Pavelka, a contestant who was dissed on last season's "Bachelorette" by Jillian Harris.
So what's so special about Jake aside from his winsome smile, adorable baby pic (in a tracksuit!) and his rock hard abs? Well, he actually flies for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. (Yeah, we haven't flown them either.)
ASA is actually a Delta Connection carrier that serves 135 U.S. destinations from its hub in Atlanta and goes as far west as San Antonio and as far north as Montreal. Jake, 31, has been flying for ASA since 2000, a year after he starred in a bit part on the TV show, Walker, Texas Ranger (Check out his IMDB Profile!) The show, titled "The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love," is expected to start filming later this month and will air in early 2010.

Air New Zealand Seeks Help From 'The Bachelor' For Its Matchmaking Flight

What is going on with Air New Zealand these days? They are releasing one gimmicky promo after the next. First, there was the group of people who wore body advertisements for the Kiwi airline, then came airline employees covered in body paint, followed by the announcement of a matchmaking flight and then some more body paint.
This time, the matchmaking flight from Los Angeles to Auckland has decided to bring onboard a successful love match to inspire hope in the other singletons on the flightJason Mesnick and his girlfriend, Molly of the ABC show, "The Bachelor."
The October 13 trip is all about finding love (and filling up Air New Zealand planes), with a plane load of singles heading down to Auckland for a major party. And we're expecting at least a few Kiwi-American marriages to come out of this.
Since everyone else will be single, we're not sure that inviting Jason and Molly along is quite the right thing to do, but there's definitely one good side to it – to celebrate this announcement, Air New Zealand is offering tickets at $200 off. If you book by Wednesday with the LOVE200 code=, you'll get your return Los Angeles to Auckland flight plus all the attached partying for $580, which is a pretty low price to pay for the prospect of some Kiwi love.

Bachelor Winner Mary Delgado Arrested At Texas Bar
Former NFL cheerleader and fiancee of bass-fishing "Bachelor" Byron Velvick got picked up by cops Saturday night after she refused to leave Lorina's Cantina in Del Rio, Texas, citing her "constitutional right" to stay and keep partying. Not content to just ride down to the sheriff's office, Mary Delgado also made a scene inside a squad car, acting, cops said, "loud and belligerent."
It's the second time in as many years that Delgado's been arrested; last November cops hauled her in after she allegedly punched Velvick. Still, he went down to the Val Verde County Correctional Facility this weekend to spring her free.
Check out the exact location of Lorina's--but try not to get thrown out--on our new Mary Delgado Map.
