After an outing to Manhattan for lunch at a scene-y spot, the "Real World: Brooklyn" cast is making an effort to explore its eponymous borough. The latest reported sighting had the kiddies enjoying the always-happening Prospect Park:
If you saw a bunch hipsters in Prospect Park being followed by cameras, it wasn't your imagination, it was "Real World: Brooklyn."
Alright, England. You have about three hours before the debut of CelebAir, the new show that will put a bunch of reality has-beens in Monarch Air planes headed for Ibiza, Tenerife and other sunny spots.
As much as we want to love this train wreck, an early review from a CelebAir passenger isn't too promising:
Before long, the captain took to the loudspeaker to introduce our "celebrity" crew. And nothing happened. No gasps, or mad fans fainting. The looks of utter incomprehension on the passengers' faces can't have done much for Kenzie and Lisa's egos.
No matter, by this time, Lisa was performing the safety demonstration--"I always get this bit wrong," she giggled, worryingly, while explaining how to do up the lifejacket--and we were off.... They were just like real cabin crew, only much, much less competent.

Previously:Spencer and Heidi crashed Stephanie's birthday. Happy B-day: You're disowned! LC went on a date with Duh Doug and Whitney got a major promotion.
Whitney's off to New York City today at the beck and call of Kelly Cutrone, or as she puts it to Lauren, "When she wants you, she wants you." They set up for casting at the Soho Grand Hotel (310 W. Broadway) and Whit's first assignment is to get male models to take their clothes off and pose for pictures. Wow, hard life!
Kelly connives to get Whitney and one of the models, Alex, to go for drinks, but they only share a perfectly chaste walk and a talk about the differences between New York and LA. Later, Whitney tells Lauren how she asked Kelly, "Do I scream lonely or something?"
Sidewalk cafes are big this time of year in New York, but wouldn't the less-trafficked streets of Red Hook be a more pleasant place for an al fresco lunch than a bustling corner in Chelsea? Not if you're filming The Real World and want a cool shot!
The cast was seen lunching Tuesday at still-sizzling Cafeteria, which New York magazine once praised for its people-watching:
You're sure to run into someone you know, or at least recognize from US Weekly.
The real question is why the cast wasn't at Delicatessen, the brand new SoHo spot from the same owners.

Previously: The pool party sucked, Whitney worked and She-Pratt used to be good.
It's Stephanie She-Pratt's birthday! She's having a party at Boulevard3 and invited LC at school and her second question (after "Can I bring a guy?") is, "Are you inviting Spencer and Heidi?" Foreshadowing!
Speidi appear, briefly, as if they actually won't go to the bash, thus nearly draining the drama from this episode. Out for a date at Don Antonio's, a familiar Season 2 and 3 haunt, they once again express how betrayed they feel, but Heidi insists that for the sake of family unity, they should go and then cut her out of their lives forever.
So Spencer shows up late with a giant balloon bouquet--Huh?! She's not four!--and says, while LC and Lo are sitting on Stephanie's other side, "Can you get these obnoxious chicks away?" Master of subtlety!
CelebAir, the airline-turned-reality show set to take off September 2 has just announced its celebrity staff. Sorry, Americans: You'll have no idea who these people are!
Among the famous faces that'll be checking in passengers and serving drinks are model and WAG Michelle Marsh, comedian Phil Cornwell, "X Factor" alum Chico and former pop princess and reality TV star Lisa Scott-Lee
Lisa's husband Johnny Shentall will also be working for CelebAir, which should lend a bit of that all important manufactured reality TV drama to the series. Seats are still available!
We're just now settling in for an extended season of "The Hills," and CBS decides to up the reality TV ante, by announcing the teams for The Amazing Race 13.
Marisa and Brooke are in the early running for the Dustin and Kandice award, as a duo of blondes who are wearing matching pink spa suits in their publicity photo. (Or maybe they'll flame out like Shana and Jennifer from last season?)
Andrew and Dan look to be standard fraternity guys, but could their degrees in urban planning and tourism management be bigtime assets? As for the hippie flag this time around, Anita and Arthur will have no trouble carrying it.
The game starts on September 28, and we'll have our patented race recaps for you the Monday morning after every episode.
