Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert Call Their Fans to Washington DC on October 30
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are ready to battle for more than just Emmy awards and TV ratings. The mock-news anchors announced last week that they would hold dueling rallies in Washington D.C. next month.
Stewart invited his audience to the "Rally to Restore Sanity", which is for people "who have been too busy to go to rallies." The Daily Show gathering will be held on the National Mall where Stewart is hoping to draw a million moderates to "beg America to stop shouting, throwing and drawing Hitler mustaches on people other than Hitler (or Charlie Chaplin)."

Television Travel: Colbert Hyping Pennsylvania
Faux newsman Stephen Colbert is broadcasting from Pennsylvania this week, and he's got Benjamin Franklin on to help out. The pair are in Philadelphia to follow the Democratic primary, which is coming up on April 22.
Before getting into Philly-specific chatter with mayor Michael Nutter, Colbert gave a quick tour of the state's coolest tourist attractions. Among them, of course, are Three Mile Island (complete with mutant zombies), Amish country (full of Colbert fans) and Gettysburg (also complete with mutant zombies).
Tonight Governor Ed Rendell will be on the program, and, who knows, maybe he'll have even more destinations to add?
