Maybe you missed out on Independence Day barbecues. Maybe because July 4th landed on a Thursday and you had to work on Friday, or you didnít receive an invite to a weekend grillfest. We feel you.

Find Your Own 'Safe Haven' in North Carolina (Josh Duhamel Not Included)

This weekend, Safe Haven, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, will take movie-goers on a tour of Southport, N.C., where the movie was filmed last year.

Where To Eat

Safe Haven stars Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough had an on-screen date at one Southport's most popular restaurants, Ports of Call Bistro & Market, located at 116 N Howe Street. The restaurant serves a Mediterranean lunch and dinner menu, including tapas you can order at the bar. They also serve a traditional Southern Brunch on Sunday.
