Is Snowmobiling The Ultimate Wilderness Rush?
Juliana just took a field trip to the Winter Wonderland that is Whistler in British Columbia, Canada. All this week she'll be reporting back on what to do there this ski season. Remember this place will be jammed up for the Winter Olympics in 2010, so you might want to go now or wait until 2011. Any questions? Let us know.
There are a ton of other things to do in Whistler besides skiing and snowboarding. (And we're not talking about throwing back Molsons at one of the village bars either.) While we were a little too chicken to try the Whistler Zip Line, we did muster up the courage to go snowmobiling. That's us filming on the back of the bike.

Where Were Those Missing Snowmobilers?
A group of six snowmobilers are finally back from the wild after spending three days out in deep snow along the Colorado-New Mexico border. They got stuck after running out of gas and took refuge in a small cabin. Luckily, one of the riders was able to dial in help using a cell phone. The gang was rescued soon after.
The six holed up near Osier Station, a pit stop along the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. It's the highest narrow gauge railroad in the US, and at an altitude of over 10,000 feet, you can bet it was cold out there. If you wanna check out the railroad in more comfortable conditions, scenic train rides run start up on May 24.
