Sarah Michelle Gellar Pretends to Pedal in Manhattan

We doubt actress Sarah Michelle Gellar of "Buffy" fame hopped on this pink Hello Kitty bike and rode off after shooting a Maybelline commercial in New York City. Seriously -- you wear jeans to bike ride, you end up tearing your favorite pants from the 8th grade. Hypothetically, of course. And how's she going to get pedal traction with those six-inch heels?

If you like the whoosh of air on your face but you're afraid to bike in New York City, take a pedicab! With a city regulation ordinance on hold for the moment, the earth-friendly vehicles are the human equivalent of the horse-drawn carriages on Central Park South -- which is probably why we've seen so many pedicabs at Fifth Avenue and 59th Street, at the south end of the park. After some retail therapy at Bergdorf's, FAO Schwartz or the Apple Cube, let someone else pedal you home -- if you can get over the guilt factor of riding the Western equivalent of a rickshaw, try Manhattan Pedicab.
