Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds Hole Up in Jackson Hole

Whether they are just friends as they claim, or something more, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds can't hide the fact that they've been spending an awful lot of time together.

On New Year's Eve the pair was spotted in Austin, TX. “A group of old friends that included Ryan and Sandra spent New Year’s together at Sandra’s restaurant Bess Bistro,” Sandra’s rep said. “They all had a great time ringing in the New Year as they have in the past… as nothing more than friends.”

Jesse James Packs Up, Moves to Austin to Be Near Sandra Bullock

Even though her divorce is final, Sandra Bullock just can't seem to get rid of her ex-husband, Jesse James. James recently announced he was moving to Sandra's hometown of Austin, TX so that his kids could be close to her. He seems most concerned about his youngest daughter, Sunny, who he has said is "close to Sandy."

In anticipation of the move, Jesse just purchased a 9-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom home in Austin for $2 million. The house, which is just 17 miles from Sandra's place, is on 7 acres of land, and features a gym, game room, home theater and 6-stall garage.

In 'The Proposal', Massachusetts Stands In for Alaska

The Proposal, in theaters today, stars Sandra Bullock as a Canadian citizen, working in America, who is about to get deported. To avoid deportation, she forces her assistant, played by Ryan Reynolds, to marry her. The two then fly to Alaska to visit his family and break the news. The catch is, the movie was never actually filmed in Alaska, instead the Massachusetts coast stood in for the last frontier. What to Do:
Most of the movie was filmed in Bearskin Neck, Rockport, a seacoast village on Cape Ann which was dressed as Sitka, Alaska for The Proposal. Bearskin Neck is a popular tourist destination featuring dozens of shops, like the Kanegis Gallery, which can be seen in The Proposal as the Sitka Internet Café, and James Russell Goldsmiths which is Alaska Outfitters in the film. There are also several restaurants, bakeries and ice cream shops too, all within a few blocks of each other.
