Now That's Pathetic

Some roads are great drives--California's Route 1 or the Taconic Parkway come to mind. Some are mythic, like Route 66, even when they're no longer the main arteries on travel in the country. Some roads, though, are just pathetic.

That's the thesis behind Pathetic Motorways, an English site documenting exactly that. There are tons of sub categories for these roads--lost, unbuilt, secretive--but you can rest assured that they all fall under the same rubric of pathetic. Bonus points if you manage to nominate one of your own over there.
