We See Naked People: Polar Bear Cruise Prevents Zoo Shrinkage
Hey, how'd you get that funny-shaped frostbite? These hardy souls braved 30-degree weather to participate in Circle Line's "Naked" Polar Bear Cruise on Saturday.
The boat ride raised money for the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Time Out New York reported that most of the baring bears actually kept their clothes off for the entire 60-minute ride. Brrrr! At least their wild ride didn't overlap the snowstorm which is predicted to dump up to a foot of snow today on the tri-state area.

See Naked People Around Manhattan This Weekend
Who says New York City has lost its edge? Why, we hear Saturday naked people will travel with impunity along the city's major byways! Only they won't actually be nude, but swimsuited... and substitute "waterways" for "byways" as Circle Line's “Naked” Polar Bear Cruise sets sail at 8AM tomorrow.
All this gratuitous flesh is for a good cause, though: Circle Line and the Coney Island Polar Bear club have teamed up for this stripped-down event to benefit the Bronx Zoo and the New York Aquarium. Fearless bears have taken pledges for every minute they're bare on the hourlong cruise, which will sail completely exposed between the Circle Line pier at 42nd Street and the Statue of Liberty. EMS will be on hand so no one reveals more than is healthy.
Never-nudes can buy a $20 ticket to gawk at the undressed on the ride. Tweet on the boat ride and Circle Line will donate $1 to charity for you! (Finally, they uncovered our last objection to the ride.)
