How To Be In A Movie With Jake Gyllenhaal And Anne Hathaway Next Week

Have you ever dreamt of sharing the big screen with Jake Gyllenhaal or Anne Hathaway? Who hasn't, right? Well, here's your chance! The pair have reunited for the new movie, "Love and Other Drugs," based on Jamie Reidy's memoir "Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman," and they need 400 unpaid extras for a crowd scene filming in Pittsburgh, PA next week.

The scene will be a Pfizer rally shot inside Mellon Arena on October 13th. Anyone over 18 is eligible to participate without having to provide a head shot or resume, all you have to do is contact Matt Clancy at the Pittsburgh Film Office via email (mclancy(at)pghfilm.org) or by phone (412-261-2744) by the end of business today.

Michelle Obama Begins Locavore Crusade at NYC's Gramercy Tavern

President Obama might be making his first presidential visit to Pittsburgh today for the G20 Summits, but before heading off for some serious work-time, Mr. and Mrs. Obama hit up New York again for a couple days, creating mass traffic confusion, but some actual excitement when Michelle lunched at the famed Gramercy Tavern restaurant.

In all fairness, Michelle had to eat alone since Barack was not in town for tourist activities like usual, but instead addressing the United Nations. Gramercy Tavern is an excellent choice for the First Lady, even if she may have gone because the chef behind the restaurant also catered the UN activities. It is upscale, rather exclusive and hard to get reservations for, and is known for being a cheerleader of American cuisine.

Visit the Real ‘Adventureland’ in Pittsburgh

"Adventureland", written and directed by Greg Mottola, who also directed "Superbad", is a comedy about a recent college grad (Jesse Eisenberg) who gets a summer job at an amusement park working for two weirdo bosses (Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader. Then, just when his summer job seems hopeless, he falls for a co-worker ("Twilight’s" Kristen Stewart). "Adventureland" was filmed in and around Pittsburgh in the fall of 2007. Here’s your guide to adventure in Steel City.

What to Stay:
Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel, is located in the restored Fulton Building at 107 6th St and is, apparently, fit for a President. Though price may be a little high for Pittsburgh, about $199 a night, the Renaissance has a prime location near the city's theaters, Heinz Field, PNC Park, and Mellon Arena.
