Erie Kicks Off Eerie Horror Fest With 'The Lost Boys' Reunion
It just isn't Halloween until you've had a good dose of scary movies, and the The Eerie Film Festival in Erie, PA is serving up a roster guaranteed to keep you up at night.
This year's fest kicks off Thursday night with the British zombie film Colin, which caused quit a stir in Cannes this year. The movie, which producers claim cost a mere $70, is told from a zombie's perspective. In addition to Colin, the fest will screen more than a dozen horror movies; some are terrifying while some are kitschy, like the updated version of the classic horror flick Nosferatu in 3D.

Peter Arthur Stories Is Pennsylvania's Way To Play The Indie Card

We get a lot of uninspired "it's about time to visit XXXX" pitches here at Jaunted, so don't be surprised that we got excited when we came across a recent tourism board campaign that we actually like. And we definitely like Visit PA's latest campaign, which many of you have surely already seen, although you may not realize it.
Peter Arthur Stories is a web TV series that has been advertised all over the NYC subways recently, but the ads don't tell you much until you visit the website, where you can tune in to watch the protagonist, Peter Arthur (PA, get it?), as he journeys all across the state of Pennsylvania in search of his long-lost love, a waitress who once served him the best piece of shoo-fly pie in the world. As you might imagine, Peter stumbles into plenty of tourist traps along the way, from civil war reenactments at Gettysburg to football games at Penn State.

Jon and Kate Plus Eight's (Not So) Happy Home

Jon and Kate Gosselin may be having some knock-down, drag-out fights these days, but at least they are having them in a picturesque setting. Last year, the family moved into a 1.1 million dollar estate located at 298 Heffner Rd, Wernersville, PA, about ten miles west of Reading. The house has already been featured on their hit reality show “Jon and Kate Plus Eight”, which chronicles their daily life with twins, Mady and Cara and sextuplets Collin, Leah, Joel, Hannah, Aaden and Alexis.
The couple’s new 7,000 square-foot pad features two garages and an in-ground pool on several acres of land. A recent Earth Day special depicted the family learning how to make their new digs eco-friendly by adding solar panels and solar lights.
Jon and Kate’s marital problems have been documented in the tabloids since Jon was caught out with a 23-year- old “friend” last month. Rumor has it Kate has also been unfaithful, giving her bodyguard some “special” benefits. And now her brother has hit the talk show circuit blabbing about the couple’s marriage, which he calls a “sham.”
The new (and possibly the final) season of “Jon and Kate Plus Eight” debuts on TLC on May 25th.
