The TSA Wants to See Your Junk

Flying in the next week or so? Prepare to wait a long time as you're forced to pitch any liquids you've got before you wend through security. Details of the liquid explosives plot that was busted yesterday are still emerging, but one positive has emerged: Heathrow already has scanners that can detect liquid explosives.

Dubbed the "naked scanners", they scan the body with low-energy X-Ray beams. The scanners can also detect organic materials, narcotics, and ceramic weapons. It's called the "naked" scanner because the body scan displays everything about the person--think black and white outlines of personal, sensitive, groin-based areas, and you're not far off. When the scanners were tested in Orlando, it set off a furor when this aspect of the machines was publicized.

So, What's more important to you: Bringing water on board, or keeping that superfluous third nipple a secret from the TSA?
