Lady Gaga Takes Time Out to Learn Surfing Before Sunday's VMAs
Lady GaGa finally took some time out from shooting videos, performing live, and appearing on TV last week to have a little fun in the sun in in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. So what does a groundbreaking pop star do on her summer vacation? Take surfing lessons of course! Gaga tweeted a photo of herself surfing with the caption "yeah thats me. no heels baby."
But what's more shocking than seeing that GaGa actually does have normal, human feet, is how she paid for her Mexican hotel room. Some reports claim she spent more than $7,000 a night for a luxury suite.

What If Lady Gaga Was a Pan Am Flight Attendant?
It's just another day if Lady Gaga is out and about in a crazy getup, but when she's channeling flight attendants, we stop and pay attention a moment. It was The Sun UK that first pointed out her sartorial inspiration, but we're going to take it to another level. Lady Gaga is doing a flight attendant thing, sure, but it's closer to a Pan Am flight attendant thing, to be more specific.
Our guess? Her wardrobe specialists at the Haus of Gaga are addicted to the latest teaser previews from the upcoming ABC drama "Pan Am." It's cool if you're an #avgeek, Gaga. What's next? A vinyl Pan Am bodysuit? We'd wear it.

What Lady Gaga and Kate Middleton Share in Common This Summer
It's a Tale of Two Dresses this summer, as Lady Gaga and Kate Middleton enjoy one big similaritythat their respective most famous dresses will go on public display at museums.
As part of the Women Who Rock exhibition at Cleveland's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Gaga's famous "Meat Dress" has been permanently installed from today. This is the curious garment she donned to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and which spawned a million Halloween costumes. Because it was real, fresh meat on Gaga's bones, the museum has had to preserve it (with the help of a taxidermist) and paint it to appear fresh. Take a look at the finished exhibit dress here and judge for yourself if they did a good job of that.
On the other side of the pond, Kate Middleton's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding dress will again see the light sooner than we had expected. From July 23 through October 3, the gown will have pride of place inside Buckingham Palace during the royal residence's annual summer opening. Unlike Gaga's ensemble, however, Middleton's frock will be joined by her McQueen shoes and diamond earrings. No meat shoes for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, sadly.

A Lady Gaga Theme Park? Hey, It Could Happen
Forget Disney and Six Flags for this season’s theme park visit, as there might be a new musical-sort of amusement park opening its doors in the near future. Apparently Lady Gaga is thinking about creating her own amusement park complete with plenty of play areas for all of her “Little Monsters.” Best of all, she’s even been talking with Alice Cooper to share some of her ideas, so hopefully there'll be plenty haunted houses.
We’re a little skeptical about any type of music theme park, as there was that Hard Rock Park idea that didn’t go too well and Dollywood isn't exactly overrun with tourists. Maybe if they plan this one somewhere a little more popular than Myrtle Beach, things will go a little bit differently.

Madame Tussauds Will Unveil Eight Different Lady Gaga Wax Figures Next Month
Next month, Lady Gaga will be in 9 places at once. There'll be herwherever she isplus eight life-size wax figures of her debuted at eight different Madame Tussauds. Gaga will join a range of other pop stars made into wax, like Michael Jackson and Britney Spears. The official unveiling happens December 9, so all the "Little Monsters" better get themselves to a big city with a Tussauds for the occasion.
Already the wax museums are calling the event "the biggest and most ambitious figure launch in Madame Tussauds history." According to the press release, the figures are all being made in London before being sent to the eight Madame Tussauds, in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Each figure costs 150,000 GBP ($238,335) to create, meaning that the whole project is a whopping 1.2 million GBP ($1.9 million). For that, the fake Lady Gagas better bring in a whole bunch of tourist dollars.

Lady Gaga Joins the Slew of Celebs Who Love Martha's Vineyard
You can only wear a crystal-encrusted lobster on your head so long before you start craving the real thing, and it looks as though pop star Lady Gaga is out to get it by purchasing a vacation home on the celeb-favorite island of Martha's Vineyard. WWD reported on the possibility late last night, and the fashion industry publication appropriately wondered if this means that the avant garde-loving Gaga is going preppy.
It was previously rumored that Gaga had her eye on a permanent place in the Hamptons, seeing as how she currently rents her $25,000-per-month mansion in Bel Air, California. But like the Obamas, Martha Stewart, and Bill Gates, the further out locale of Martha's Vineyard is just too attractive. It's known as a celeb-safe zone, where Gaga may be able to stretch out by the pool with her paramour, without paparazzi helicopters hovering overhead.

Lady Gaga Has a Bad Romance with the Crowd at Chicago's Lollapalooza
Lady Gaga may not have been a crowd favorite after her last Lollapalooza appearance in 2007, but she made up for it this year.
Before she hit the stage for her own performance at this weekend's fest, Gaga crowd surfed, wearing only a fishnet body suit, during Semi Precious Weapons' set. The band's frontman, Justin Tranter, thought it was "amazing," explaining:
She stood on the side of the stage, and then during the song 'Magnetic Baby,' she started playing drums with Dan. Then she started singing backup vocals, then her and I made out, and then she stagedove and then I joined her while she stage-dove. And then we made out while stagediving. And then she left.

Lady Gaga Dons a Straitjacket for Her Flight into Houston
In what's quickly becoming a weekly edition of "what crazy costume Lady Gaga wore on a plane today," we report that the infamously fashion-bold singer made her way into Houston International Airport in a straitjacket.
Well, it wasn't your typical straitjacket, but a custom-made, cowl-neck straitjacket dress designed for Gaga by stylist Asher Levine. The Daily Mail UK reports that yet again, Gaga found it difficult to walk in her high heels as the dressed cinched closely around her knees. And yet it seems like just yesterday that she was having that deep vein thrombosis scare onboard another flight.

Five Things Lady Gaga Should Have Done on Her Visit to Amsterdam
Lady Gaga was in Amsterdam last week. Fitting, you might think, but what’s odd, though, is that we didn’t see many pictures of her getting up to typical Amsterdam-my things. In fact, she was pretty low profile, only going to a single coffeeshop and taking a quick look at the Casa Rosso. Next time she's in town, she should set aside a few more hours to properly Gaga-fy Amsterdam, and here's what we think she should do.
A Lady Gaga itinerary in Amsterdam:
· Take tea in a coffee shop
With her love of teacups, we’d be amazed if Gaga hadn’t set foot in a coffee shop. She did, but only briefly, and for the full experience, she should spent a couple hours sipping some "coffee." La Tertulia is a nice one, off the main drag on Prinsengracht (number 312). You’ll find it by the psychedelic Van Gogh mural on the corner with Oude Looiersstraat.

Lady Gaga Almost Suffers Deep Vein Thrombosis on Transatlantic Flight
Update: If you want to see pictures of exactly what Gaga was wearing on the plane, click here.
Pop star Lady Gaga is notorious for her outlandish sense of style, but dramatic shoes and avant garde outfits were almost her downfall this week when the singer showed early stages of the potentially deadly deep vein thrombosis condition while on a transatlantic flight.
Gaga suffered from swelling in her legs on the flight, due to the most outrageous in-flight fashion we've ever heard of. She donned the infamous "Armadillo" shoes by recently deceased British designer Alexander McQueen and dressed in a black and yellow tape ensemble like the one pictured above from her upcoming Telephone single.
The flight attendants (airline sadly unknown), became greatly concerned with her condition and eventually convinced Gaga to change her clothes into something less restricting. But before she could strip, she had to get help to undo her outfit, it was that complex. Perhaps one of the other celebs on her flight came to her rescue? Also on board were P. Diddy, Peaches Geldoff and Liam Gallagher.
