Kim Kardashian's California Tourism Ad Hits the Internet

Technically, this new commercial for California doesn't debut until this upcoming Monday, October 11, but like with most things these days, it's hitting the internet earlier. We warned you that Kim Kardashian in a pink bikini was in your future, and here is the finished product. The spot is chock-full of big-enough names to make the commericial get the attention of TV viewers, and blessedly there's no Schwarzenegger to turn it political. Instead, we get bikinis, and isn't that how it should always be?

Joe Jonas Joins the LA Lunch Crowd

The Jonas Brothers don’t only have Disney watching their every move, but of course good old mom is watching too. Denise Jonas opened up to Good Housekeeping recently about raising her sons to be upstanding citizens and whether or not she thinks they’ll remain virgins.

Part of her strategy for raising good kids is not letting the boys get too accustomed to the perks of being teen idols. Nick Jonas told the magazine, “She makes us be careful in the hotel room ... she makes us put back towels and straighten the bed.”

Joe Jonas Just Wants to Relax, What About You?

At least screaming fans will have to work a little bit: Disney-owned Joe Jonas told a writer for Seventeen magazine that, despite the fact that he's been everywhere with his brother act the Jonas Brothers, he would like nothing better than to take time off of the group to backpack around the world.

Joe, perhaps living out the archetype of the middle child, has a #1 movie and a Disney Channel sitcom about to premiere, but apparently he's ready to chuck it all to stay in hostel after hostel with his best buddy, preferably one not related to him.

There are trips you take because you want to see the world, and there are trips you take because you have to get away from it all. We could just call the latter "vacations," but that doesn't seem specific enough; we're talking about the trip where you turn your phone off and zone out in your own particular way for a time.

Fear not, Tiny Tim: Christmas is coming to Disneyland even if the bank repossesses all of Disney's coal on Christmas Eve. The Jonas Brothers--aka What The Kids Are Listening To These Days--get caught taping the Disneyland Christmas Day Parade

Christmas will continue for Disney, but will anyone be there to see it? Stock plummeted Friday after CEO Robert Iger announced that earnings were down at the American entertainment juggernaut. Maybe the company's hoping that "staycating" families will chip in and subscribe to Disney on cable once they've seen the JoBro and Miley Cyrus gallivanting about for an early Christmas.

Scary Celeb Travel: Why Wax Museums Should Be Illegal

My name is Jonas: The Jonas Brothers, a Disney-manufactured band of bros popular with tweens for their hair and moms for their purity rings, pose with the wax Jonas Brothers at Madame Tussaud's in Washington, DC. It's too bad they had to melt down Hanson to add them to the exhibits!

We still don't understand the appeal of the JoBro, none of whom are old enough to drink, and we're curious about the rarely seen fourth brother, Sloth Frank. But to prove our theories, we'd have to finagle a ticket to their (doubtless) sold-out shows this week in Virginia Beach tonight, Atlanta on Wednesday and Cuyahoga Falls and Columbus, Ohio on Thursday and Friday.

Hamptons Travel: Christie Brinkley Lives Her Own "Hills" Episode

OMG! Can you believe what happened in the Hamptons this weekend? Christie Brinkley was, like, at a benefit for the Ross School starring the Jonas Brothers--if you're too old to know, they're a hot Disney Channel-affiliated band of bros with a squeaky-clean image--and her ex Peter Cook showed up! With another girl! (OK, it was their daughter Sailor, but still!)

Brinkley did what our reality-television heroines would do--she fled. Because they, like, totally can't be in the same room together after she attacked him in court for pursuing young girls and spending thousands of dollars on porn, they're going to have to stake out spots like LC and Heidi. Leave the Hamptons for an ex-lover? Impossible.

The circle will only be complete if Brinkley goes on a date with one of the "JoBro." Considering they're all under 20, that's not a likely prospect.
