Use Twitter to Stalk Jimmy Fallon in Montreal
While some celebs were getting poured on in L.A., Jimmy Fallon proved all the cool kids were actually in Canada. The Late Night host spent the weekend in Montreal for a friend's bachelor party where, he announced on his show Friday, they planned to do some snowmobiling and ice fishing. But, apparently, they decided to do some eating and bar hopping instead.
On Sunday, he tweeted, "Love to Montreal. Had a blast this weekend. Joe Beef, Chez Serge and Stereo. Great places." So, where are these great places? Joe Beef, located at the corner of De la Commune Street and De la Callière Street, in Old Montreal, has only 28 seats and a limited menu to ensure each customer has great service and each meal is as fresh as it can be. Every night there is a choice of four appetizers and four main courses written on a blackboard in the restaurant. Main dishes include tripe-a beef, fresh fish or traditional Montreal cuisine ranging from $18 to $40.They also have a “raw bar” where you get to choose from three or four different kinds of oysters, clams, crabs or lobsters ($8 to $18).

If Michael Cera Can Tour Detroit's Abandoned Train Station, We Wanna Go Too
Actor Micheal Cera, who took a break for a second from hanging out with his new posse The Cast of Jersey Shore, recently told MTV, "I've done a lot of stuff I'm really ashamed of" and when asked if it was illegal, he replied, "Yeah. And I'd rather not elaborate on that." Well, we know of at least one illegal activity Cera participated in while filming Youth in Revolt in Detroittrespassing.
On Tuesday night he told Jimmy Fallon about a little trek he took through Detroit's abandoned train station. "We went in the abandoned train station, which you know about, we went in it, it was one of the scariest...There's this train station in Detroit that was designed by the guy that did Grand Central, y'know, that guy," he explained. "So its a beautiful structure and like, huge, but its been abandoned since '85 or something so its just filled with rubble and broken windows and we were in there because we were with a local who had gone in there since he was a kid, and well, we were in there we heard gun shots. So it sounded like the gun shots were coming from the bottom of the staircase we were descending and it was terrifying, but I think they were actually outside. So someone got shot and it was terrifying." Then he added the disclaimer: "don't go there, its not a tourist attraction or anything."
Of course, as soon as someone says, "don't go there", we're dying to check it out...

Jimmy Fallon's Guide To The Best Bars in Milwaukee

While some stars were jetting off to the Cannes Film Festival last weekend, Jimmy Fallon took the road less traveled and spent a few days in Milwaukee. The Late Night host performed his stand up act at the Pabst Theater on Saturday, no doubt trying out some of the jokes we’ll be hearing on his show this week.
Jimmy’s weekend wasn’t all work and no play though. He did get a chance to take in some of Milwaukee’s finest drinking establishments and, of course, Tweeted all about it, saying "Bye, Milwaukee. So fun. Pabst theater is gorgeous. Great people" and "Jo Cat (pedal pub crawlers),Bryant's (crazy good cocktails), Club Brady (not a club - but dudes moshing to Pantera) and Wolski's (cold beer)."
Here’s a break down of Jimmy's Tweet about the best bars he visited in Milwaukee.

Questlove Swears He Won't Become a New Yorker
Now that Philly music icons the Roots have a full-time gig in Manhattan (as the house band for Jimmy Fallon's new late night show), we had to wonder, are the sixth borough's favorite hip-hoppers feeling a pull towards the first borough?
Not quite, says drummer Questlove. Despite the five-nights-a-week gig at NBC Studios, along with a running DJ night at Le Poisson Rouge, Quest still considers himself a Philly resident through-and-through.
"Right now I'm basically living in the dressing room of 30 Rockefeller Center, but I still get my mail in Philly," says Questlove. "I love my house there, so I'm holding out on getting a New York mortgage."
Questlove's greatest travel wish? Fans of the obsessive Twitter addict know he's stoked about Obama's recent train construction announcements, and he's hoping for some super-high-speed trains connecting his two towns. (Questlove, who can be found tweeting dozens of times a day with semi-celebs like Samantha Ronson, Solange Knowles and Khloe Kardashian, says he keeps his computer by the stage during the Fallon show just in case he feels an urgent need to Tweet during breaks.)
The whole band will return to Philly June 6 for the second annual Roots Picnic, when they'll bring along Santogold, the Black Keys and TV on the Radio, as well as Public Enemy, who will perform the entirety off their seminal 1988 album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, with the Roots playing backup.
"I'll be scalping tickets on Twitter," jokes Questlove.

How to Get Tickets to Jimmy Fallon's New Show

Monday night, Jimmy Fallon made his debut as the new host of "Late Night." So far, things haven’t been going so good. Critics have panned his awkward opening, the L.A. Times called his first show, "forced, amateurish and uncomfortable.” But it has had its moments (like the reunion of Fallon and Justin Timberlake doing their Gibb brothers impersonation) and it is sure to get better, no one should be judged on their first day at a new job.
