No, Jennifer Aniston, Even You Can't Make the Word 'Nakation' Happen

February 24, 2012 at 3:07 PM | by | Comment (1)

In the new movie Wanderlust, Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd play New Yorkers who decide they need to get out of the city and...end up at a nudist colony.

The movie used several nudists as extras for the commune scenes and spent more than a week filming at two clothing optional resorts in Georgia, Paradise Valley and Serendipity Park.

Of course, the American Association for Nude Recreation (yes, there is such a thing) is hoping the film inspires others to spend their next vacation wearing nothing but their birthday suit. According to the association's blog, "The film, and its depiction of nudity, has been greatly anticipated by nudists for months."

'Just Go With It' like Jennifer Aniston to Win Maui Trips and a Kajillion Hilton Points

February 11, 2011 at 1:36 PM | by | Comments (0)

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston share the big screen for the first time this weekend in Just Go With It, about a guy who pretends he is married to meet woman and then recruits a co-worker to pretend she's his ex-wife after he meets a woman he actually cares about.

If you're wondering what convinced Jennifer Aniston to star in one of Adam Sandler's movies, there is an explanation: they filmed the movie for seven weeks in Maui. The cast and crew enjoyed all of the perks of the Grand Wailea (like spa services, on-site golf, luxury suites and beach access) while filming (and living) at the resort last spring.

Where Did Gerard Butler Grab Jennifer Aniston's Butt?

Where: Paris, France
March 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM | by | Comments (0)

It's the buttgrab felt 'round the world, as rumors of a romance between The Bounty Hunter co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are fueled by a sneaky photographer who caught Butler alleging having some fun with Aniston during a film event. To their defense, it was a romantic evening, as the duo completed their press junket stop in Paris with a private yacht cruise on the Seine River.

Jennifer just can't catch a break with boys, but that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy a similarly stimulating evening on the Seine. The yacht on which they floated, the ACTE III, is available for rent as an alternative to the tourist-cramped Bateaux-Mouches. The ACTE III can hold 2-40 people and trips begin at 150 Euro per person for an evening with an aperitif and dancing.

Chase Jennifer Aniston by Following the Path of 'The Bounty Hunter'

March 19, 2010 at 1:20 PM | by | Comments (3)

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are getting cozy on the big screen in The Bounty Hunter, which opens nationwide today. Gerry and Jen filmed the movie in and around New York City last summer but instead using the typical midtown Manhattan locales, much of the movie was shot outside of the city, in Brooklyn or in the Bronx.

In the film, Gerard plays a bounty hunter hired to bring in his ex-wife, a reporter played by Jennifer Aniston. The action-packed chase scenes are the ones that drew Aniston the script. "It has a fun road-chase aspect. It's a fun action/comedy. It's not a traditional romantic comedy," she recently explained.

Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow Break Bread in Morocco

November 30, 2009 at 10:29 AM | by | Comments (0)

Two of Brad Pitt's exes spent Turkey Day together in Morocco this year, leaving him to his family life. Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow, along with Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, Salma Hayek and Adrien Brody, celebrated the re-opening of La Mamounia Hotel on Thursday in Marrakech. Suspiciously absent from the star-studded affair were the ladies of Sex and the City. All four women—Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon—have been filming scenes for next year's feature, Sex and the City 2 in Morocco since Oct. 25.

It's no wonder so many A-Listers showed up for the gala event. The hotel was a mainstay for celebrities for decades before it closed its doors three years ago. Even Alfred Hitchcock was a fan and shot The Man Who Knew Too Much in the hotel's lobby, which was also a favorite hang out for the Rolling Stones, Charlie Chaplin and Sharon Stone.

Love Happens in Seattle, If You Believe Jennifer Aniston

September 18, 2009 at 9:18 AM | by | Comments (0)

Get out your tissues ladies. Love Happens, a new romantic dramedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart, opens in theaters today. The movie isn't getting the best reviews from critics but we give its setting, Seattle, four stars.

Where to Stay:
In the beginning of the movie, Aaron Eckhart walks from Pike Place to the Hyatt Regency, in the rain of course. But the Hyatt in the movie is actually in Vancouver, where most of the movie was made. Seattle does have their own Hyatt though, the Grand Hyatt, located downtown at 721 Pine St. Keeping with the Love Happens theme, the Grand Hyatt Seattle offers an Amour Package that includes accommodations, in-room breakfast for two, champagne, chocolates, bath salts and a 3 pm check out. And just like in life, all of that love comes at a price, the package starts around $385 a night.

Jennifer Aniston And Five Other Stars Say 'Nay' To Naycations

March 5, 2009 at 9:06 AM | by | Comments (0)

So news broke this week that Jennifer Aniston allegedly got a $56,000 haircut before heading off on her latest promotional jaunt as her adorable-dog movie "Marley and Me" debuts in Europe. Well, it wasn't just a haircut; that included plane tickets and other travel arrangements for her stylist as well as daily do's. Celebrities! They so crazy!

Well, with all due respect, Aniston isn't getting bailed out by the federal government to keep her tresses shipshape. It's her money and she might as well blow it on something that keeps her happy. Plus, she's helping the travel industry, one stylist at a time. Who else is saving travel as we know it one flight at a time? Check our gallery to find out.

He's Just Not That Into Baltimore

February 20, 2009 at 9:26 AM | by | Comment (1)

“He’s Just Not That Into You," the movie based on a book based on a line in “Sex and the City," is set in Baltimore but was primarily filmed in Los Angeles. They spent a few days filming in Charm City to sprinkle in some authenticity and gave the city plenty of shout outs but for the most part, the Baltimore in this Baltimore based flick is fake. Even the famous Domino Sugar sign that can be spotted through the window of Jennifer Aniston's apartment is nothing more than a backdrop on an L.A. soundstage. We've gathered a few tips for a taste of the real Baltimore.

Stars Aren't Like Us. (Because They're Still On The Beach.)

January 5, 2009 at 8:45 AM | by | Comments (0)

Around the world, the last New Year's Eve overpartiers are finally crawling into work--but not your favorite celebrities. We figure anyone on a beach this week is just rubbing it in, so let's examine the culprits:

"Heroes" costars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia walked along a beach in Bora Bora toward their private villa. Also in the Pacific, Kate Moss took her boyfriend Jamie Hince to Surin Beach on Phuket, where she once got married (in a non-binding ceremony) to ex Pete Doherty. Might history repeat itself?

Meanwhile, among those dipping their toes into the Atlantic were Amy Winehouse, who seemed not to leave her house in 2008 at all until this trip to St. Lucia. Jude Law stepped off the London set of "Sherlock Holmes" long enough to take his kids to Copacabana Beach in Rio. And the celebrity-ridden beaches of Cabo provided Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli with a beach holiday and Jennifer Aniston a potential respite from the rumors about her very Mayer Christmas. Must be nice! We're going to go put another sweater on.

"Marley and Me" Let Loose In LA

December 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM | by | Comments (0)

The big premiere of "Marley and Me," starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, is tonight in Los Angeles at Mann's Village Theater. The Spanish Mission style theater, located at 961 Broxton Ave., opened in 1931 and has remained one of the most popular venues in LA for events and premieres.

The release of "Marley and Me", primarily filmed in Miami, has meant a media blitz for Jen, who just can't stop talking about the Jolie-Pitts. In the latest issue of GQ, she claims that they all hang out together in the Hamptons. Of course she must be joking because we all know the Jolie-Pitts wouldn't be caught dead in a pedestrian vacation destination like the Hamptons.

Meanwhile in NYC, "Law and Order" is filming at City Hall in lower Manhattan. The building is the oldest city hall in the country and is renowned for its architecture, including a dramatic rotunda and sweeping formal staircase. If you want to get up close and personal with the building, private tours are available through the city of New York.

If you have any tips about where movies or TV shows are filming, send them our way at tips@jaunted.com.

Cruising With John Mayer, Only On EBay

December 10, 2008 at 2:30 PM | by | Comments (0)

Allow us to present the sailing of the century: A four-day, three-night "experience" for four aboard the "Mayercraft Carrier 2" with serial celebrity bedder John Mayer departing San Pedro, California on March 27, 2009.

But while the MC2 is in reality simply the Carnival Splendor, you won't be able to book this epic journey--that also includes pre- and post-sail stays at the swanky Casa del Mar in Santa Monica and first-class air travel--on the cruise line's website. Instead, you'll have to bid for it on eBay.

The current asking price is $25,000, which is way cheaper than some inauguration rentals we've seen. Plus, you actually get to meet Mayer, take home an autographed guitar and maybe even figure out once and for all if he and Jennifer Aniston really are back together.

Sneaking Around With The Ex Travel: Jen and John Discovered in Boston

October 15, 2008 at 9:15 AM | by | Comments (0)

You really thought you could do this stealthily, guys? Jennifer Aniston, one of the top tabloid-selling stars in the country, flew to Boston to catch up with ex John Mayer and take in a Ray LaMontagne concert with him. Okay, it's not exactly drinking by the pool topless, but guys! What did you think was going to happen?

Mayer reportedly dumped Aniston by text message in August and then wrote on his blog that one fifth of the world wants out of their relationships. But that didn't stop her from meeting him in Boston, spending the weekend with him in New York City and then flying with him to LA in a private plane.

Maybe it's recession-related: Resuming an old relationship means you can skip right to the pajamas-and-Netflix portion of the relationship and cut the expensive wining and dining.
