'The Conspirator' Descends on Savannah

Savannah locals have become accustomed to sharing the streets with horses and buggies over the past few weeks. But they aren't just another tourist attraction; they're actually props for The Conspirator. Robert Redford is directing the film, which is set in 1865 Washington, D.C. and re-creates the trial of Mary Surratt, the only woman among those executed for conspiring to kill President Abraham Lincoln. He's brought an all-star cast along with him too. Robin Wright Penn is playing Mary Surratt and James McAvoy plays her attorney, Frederick Aiken. Justin Long, Alexis Bledel, Tom Wilkinson, Kevin Kline and Evan Rachel Wood have all joined the cast as well.

Savannah's historical look lends itself well to the period piece, though they've still had to make some small changes along the way. For instance, while filming last week, the cobblestone streets in Savannah's historical district were covered with dirt and period flags and signage were brought in for accuracy. The city's famous squares have come in handy too. The Campion-Fowlkes House on Oleans Square has already been used in a party scene and nearby Chatham Square was used for exteriors. Today, Redford continues filming in Savannah's historic district, along West Bay Street.

Meet The 'Little Fockers' in L.A. This Week

Apparently, meeting the parents and the Fockers wasn't enough, next year, we will be introduced to the "Little Fockers" too. Ben Stiller, Terry Polo, and Robert DeNiro have returned for a third Fockers film that will focus again on the mishaps of Greg and Pamela Focker (Stiller and Polo), now the proud parents of young twins.

This time, they're not just mixing up the family dynamic, they're also adding a few new cast members. Jessica Alba has been brought on board to play a pharmaceutical rep whose looks have a dangerous effect on men and Laura Dern will play the head mistress at the kids' school. Owen Wilson's character Kevin will be back too but as of now, Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand have not signed on to return as Greg's parents.

The third installment of the Fockers franchise is already in production and currently filming in L.A. This week, they are filming at 200 South Grand Ave in downtown L.A. The location can't be missed as they have set up a huge base camp filled with trailers and trucks in a parking lot adjacent to MOCA Grand Avenue.

Penélope, Miley & Liza All Visit The NYC Set of 'Sex and the City 2'

Sex and the City 2's revolving door of celebrity cameos continues this week with a gay icon, an ex-boyfriend, a Hollywood bombshell and a teen star. It all started with Liza Minnelli, who is said to have played an intricate part in the wedding of Anthony (Mario Cantone) and Stanford (Willie Garson) which filmed earlier this week at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn. According to OK!, "Liza Minnelli sings [Beyonce's 'Single Ladies'] at the wedding—the same wedding where Sarah Jessica Parker plays the best man!"

On Monday, Jason Lewis, a.k.a Samantha's ex Smith Jerrod, was spotted on the NYC set of SATC2 with Kim Cattrall, reigniting hope among "Team Smith" fans that the couple may get back together in the sequel.

Right Now, Detroit Is Good For Tom Cruise And Barbecue

Yesterday, some Detroit residents may have thought the city was under seize based on the number of military vehicles and debris in the streets, but it was all just part of the latest movie shoot happening in the city. They were filming an elaborate explosion scene near Woodward Ave and Mack Ave for "Red Dawn," a remake of the 1984 classic starring Patrick Swayze.

“Red Dawn” has been filming in Michigan since last month at various locations and will reportedly continue through the beginning of December. The cast is full of up and coming actors, like Connor Cruise, the adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, who, despite a hectic shooting schedule, has been spending most weekends with his dad in Boston. Other cast members include Chris Hemsworth ("Star Trek"), Josh Peck ("Drake & Josh"), and Adrianne Palicki ("Friday Night Lights").

How To Be In A Movie With Jake Gyllenhaal And Anne Hathaway Next Week

Have you ever dreamt of sharing the big screen with Jake Gyllenhaal or Anne Hathaway? Who hasn't, right? Well, here's your chance! The pair have reunited for the new movie, "Love and Other Drugs," based on Jamie Reidy's memoir "Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman," and they need 400 unpaid extras for a crowd scene filming in Pittsburgh, PA next week.

The scene will be a Pfizer rally shot inside Mellon Arena on October 13th. All Work and No Play For Ben Affleck On Set In Boston

If you were in Boston over the weekend, you may have thought someone got hijacked on the Charlestown Bridge, but it was actually just Ben Affleck causing all of the commotion. Ben is back in his hometown directing and starring in The Town, about a bank robber being chased by the FBI. The movie, which also features a Gossip Girl (Blake Lively) and a Mad Man (Jon Hamm), has been filming at at various locations, including Fenway Park and Copley Square, around the city for the past month or so.

The latest scene filmed on the Charlestown Bridge involved police vehicles chasing burglars (in creepy habits and masks) and was all filmed from a helicopter above. The scene is sure to look cool in the movie, but it had traffic backed up all weekend as they closed the bridge completely so Ben could get his shot.

Take A Spa Day With 'Twilight' Star Robert Pattinson In Vancouver

Will Twilight mania ever end? Based on the number of Twi-hards traveling to Vancouver to see the cast filming Eclipse, it won't end anytime soon. Just this past weekend, fans waited for hours outside of Bella's house on 28 Ave in Surrey while the movie's stars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson filmed inside.

But for some fans, standing on the street in a Vancouver suburb isn't how they imagined their first encounter with Robert Pattinson. Maybe they'd prefer a luxury spa date instead? Apparently, the world's sexiest vampire enjoys getting pampered too. Pattinson has been spotted several times at the the posh Vida Wellness Spa at Sutton Place Hotel.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz Take On Boston in 'Wichita'

Boston is looking more like Hollywood every day. For starters, Ben Affleck is directing Jon Hamm in a movie called The Town at Fenway Park today while Kevin James is wrapping up his latest, The Zookeeper at The Franklin Park Zoo. But the biggest celebrity news in Beantown has to be that there have been sightings of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz filming the comedy/action flick Wichita in and around Boston for the past week.

Yesterday, Tom and Cameron shot scenes for Wichita at Gaslight in the up-and-coming SoWa district of Boston's South End. Gaslight is a classic neighborhood Parisian brasserie. Their specialties include Duck Confit, Steak Frites, Roasted Salmon Fillet and Rotisserie Chicken, all ranging between $15-$20. For dessert try the Chocolate Beignets, which are small pastries filled with chocolate and dusted with powered sugar, yum! Reservations are suggested and can be made online.

'Sex and the City 2' Fans Stalk The Plaza Hotel Set For Storyline Secrets

Sex and the City 2 continues filming around New York City and fans are literally following along, hoping to catch a few clues about the movie's plot. Last week, the ladies were spotted filming outside The Plaza in full '80s garb for a flashback scene, though its unclear how it will fit into the movie.

Kim Cattrall recently told People:

It was so much fun to relive the wild and crazy fashions of the '80s. I absolutely loved the four different looks of all of us. We were all so uniquely different that we all couldn't stop admiring our different looks. There was lots of laughing, and it was a blast!

Kim not only got her 80's on last week, she also let a few SATC2 secrets slip when she carried her script with her to the set in Manhattan. The pesky paparazzi were able to zoom in on the page which revealed Smith (the hunky model) might make an appearance in the "Sex" sequel even though he and Samantha parted ways at the end of the first film. In the scene, Samantha is at her desk when she's told "Smith Jerrod's on the phone." There's also a bottle of hormone pills on her desk so its safe to assume Samantha will be dealing with menopause too.

This Weekend's Guide To Stalking The Cast Of Twilight 'Eclipse'

Young women (and a few men) are still flocking to Vancouver with hopes of getting a glimpse of theTwilight cast who are there filming the third installment of the series, Eclipse. But, finding exactly where they're filming has proven to be more difficult than most would have imagined.

On Tuesday, the Vancouver Sun did confirm they were filming at Capilano Regional Park but they also reported there were no signs of Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson. We also know they filmed the movie's big graduation scene on August 28th at David Thompson Secondary School which stands in as Forks High in both New Moon and Eclipse.

NYC Streets Clogged Up With The Filming Of 'Sex And The City 2'

Filming for Sex and the City 2 is officially underway in New York City, and the shoots have been causing the expected chaos all over the city. On the first day of shooting, near 84th Street and Park Ave, one onlooker told the NY Daily News that security was tight thanks to hordes of fans watching from the sidelines. The witness added, "They looked more like they were protecting the President than Sarah Jessica Parker."

On Wednesday, SJP and Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, filmed a scene at Hogan and Hartson’s at 875 Third Ave. The law firm was transformed into Big's on-screen office for the movie, and thankfully this inside location kept the crowds thin.

Mandy Moore Can Beat Homesickness With London's Notting Hill Carnival

Yesterday, Mandy Moore began shooting the romantic comedy "Swinging With the Finkels" in the UK, which is an extension of Jonathan Newman's short film/internet sensation, "Sex With The Finkels".

On Sunday however, Mandy Tweeted, "in lovely londontown but totally feeling homesick" and yesterday she added, "Day 1 of work in full-swing. Phone is dying and missing home still but it seems to be off to a good start here." Even though she may be homesick for L.A. and is probably missing her husband, Ryan Adams, Mandy is actually in London at a good time. This weekend is the U.K.'s Bank Holiday and there are several festivals happening all over the country, the biggest being The Notting Hill Carnival in London.
