While the night's other big winners, including Ben Affleck, Lena Dunham, and Jennifer Lawrence, headed upstairs to party hop at the Beverly Hilton, Hugh Jackman had to catch a flight to Atlanta right after the ceremony.

Having trouble distinguishing between movies and plays? In a movie, the characters don't berate you if your cell phone goes off, as one Broadway audience member found out this week while watching Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig tread the boards together.
Jackman and Craig are currently starring in "A Steady Rain," a Chicago-imported drama about two cops who get into some off-duty trouble. Last Wednesday, they didn't even break accent (Jackman's is better, for the record) to call out an etiquette-challenged patron who didn't turn off a ringing cell phone (which proceeded to go off again). We're just over a month away from the release of Baz Luhrmann's latest epic film, Australia, which the country is hoping will boost its profile as a travel destination (witness this cool Aussie tourism ad). Based on the trailers, the story looks pretty interesting - Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman portray lovers caught in the turmoil of the 1930's - but the real star of the film is the land itself. In a recent interview with National Geographic Adventure magazine (not online), screenwriter Richard Flanagan talked about his childhood in Tasmania and the northern outback region that inspired him to pen the script.
We're going to enjoy this vacation, or else! Hugh Jackman pushes a nearly toppling luggage cart at Sydney International Airport on a family vacation to Cambodia.
Baggage limits and fees are nothing new to international travelers, but let's hope the Jackmans are better one-bag packers the next time they head Stateside: Now that airlines like United have seen the market tolerance for baggage fees as represented by the extra revenue they're bringing in--in United's case, an expected $700 million for the year--there's no slowing down.
And when Southwest's no-fee approach becomes unsustainable? Well... We'll see!
