How to Get Tickets To 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Few people saw Ellen DeGeneres' second-coming as an entertainer when her talk show launched in 2003. Now, though, she's adored by many for her signature dance, relaxed interviewing style, and ability to deliver a killer commencement speech, making tickets to Ellen seemingly impossible to come by. The best you can do is try your luck via the booking process, which we're going to walk you through step-by-step. Demand for certain days and times, and your degree of luck, will ultimately determine whether you'll sit in as an audience member.
First, you'll have to consult the online calendar to see if there are open dates in the near future. Already this is problematic. We tried scrolling across dates in December and January and weren't allowed to click on any, which tells us that they're either not open for request yet, or they're full.

How To Get Tickets To See The Rockettes' Radio City Christmas Spectacular
Native New Yorker or one-time tourist, everyone should see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes oncepreferably while you're either old enough or young enough to appreciate the spectacle. The velvet seats in NYC's Radio City Music Hall, the elaborate costume changes, the ridiculous souvenirswell, those you can enjoy as well at home, but the point stands.
Performances of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular start Friday, November 13 (yes, really, Scrooge) with most days holding at least four performances. Picking a non-peak performance (every day till Nov. 26, then weekdays till Dec. 18) will save you money$7 off the third mezzanine up to $60-$160 on premium seatsso if you can convince your guests to go on a weekday during the Christmas season, much better. For our money's worth, you can see just fine from the 3rd mezzanine, but some people like being front and center, and we admit, it is awesome to be close enough to hear the dance steps as they land.

How To Score Tickets To Chelsea Lately

E!'s Chelsea Handler is a boisterous blonde with a dirty mouth, a cutting sense of humor, and a history of deviant activity on the Oxygen show Girls Behaving Badly. These days, she's known for dishing on topics ranging from sex to ridiculous reality television in her books, standup routines, and her late night television show Chelsea Lately. Conan and Dave aren't the only ones ruling TV after hours, with Chelsea having gained a following for being brash, honest, and one of those non-parelil females that refuses to be prim and proper.
If you're a fan from the Los Angeles area or will be visiting soon, requesting tickets to Chelsea Lately is slightly less annoying than the process we've experienced with other late night shows. The reason is simple: you'll know right away whether you've landed a coveted bunch of passes (up to four in one party) rather than being thrown into a lottery pool where nothing is guaranteed. Obsessive planners should appreciate this.

How To Get Tickets To Witness The National Christmas Tree Lighting
A trip to the local discount store over the week confirmed things: Christmas has arrived. The Halloween candy was marked down to free, and scavengers had already stripped the shelves of the remaining discount pet costumes. We’re kind of ready for the holiday season, as we’ve accepted that it now officially begins on November 1. Now that we understand things, we're eager to get tickets for the National Christmas Tree Lighting.
This week is your only opportunity to enter for a chance to witness the lighting of the huge tree in Washington, DC. If you miss out this week, you’re going to need some good luck or have your Congressperson on speed dial. The ticket lottery opens up this Wednesday at midnight and runs through 11:59 pm on Friday evening. Almost 10,000 free tickets will be distributed, but remember to some bring good shoes, as 7,000 of the tickets will be standing room only.

Cue Strings! How to Get Tickets To The LA Philharmonic

These days, buses and benches in Los Angeles are emblazoned with one of two images: an ad for Cougar Town, or a photo of an enthusiastic, curly-haired conductor with the text, "¡Vibrante Gustavo!" or "¡Bienvenidos Gustavo!" scrawled across it in bold letters. This animated man is Gustavo Dudamel, the young Venezuelan conductor who has just assumed a lead post at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Everyone from Vogue to 60 Minutes has been buzzing about his arrival in the City of Angels, and after a free preview at the Hollywood Bowl last weekend, it's official: He's arrived.
It's difficult not to buy into the hyped-up excitement about Dudamel, especially when he's drawing comparisons to Leonard Bernstein and it's said his youthful energy might save the state of classical music in the U.S. Talk about expectation. That said, we're itching to see the man in action just as much as the next classical enthusiast. The question is how, especially when ticket demand for a Dudamel-conducted show is ridiculously high.
