The flamboyant artist Frida Kahlo knew there was no better runway than the runway of life and that was evident in her over-the-top style. For the first time in almost 60 years, the public can now view the extravagant wardrobe of Kahlo in Mexico City.
The exhibit, named "Appearances Can Be Deceiving," is housed in her former home-turned-museum in the Del Carmen area of the city, and it features about 300 items from her personal wardrobe. Everything from dresses and headpieces to jewelery and her famed corsetry are all on exhibit to honor the unique life of the artist.

Conan O'Brien is taking his show on the road, again.
This week the talk show host announced he is bringing Conan to Atlanta for a week leading up to the Final Four. Conan will tape four episodes of his show at Atlanta's Tabernacle Concert Hall on April 1-4, 2013.
Here's the good news, the V Festival has announced this year's fest will return to Hylands Park and Weston Park on August 17th and 18th. Now for the bad news, early bird ticket sales have closed and tickets don't go on sale again until March 1.
But, in the meantime, you can sign up for pre-sale registration, beginning February 4, and find out the fest's full line-up on February 25. Plus, this gives you plenty of time to decide which ticket package will work best for you before they go on sale.
In honor of NYC & Company's Broadway Week, 2-for-1 tickets are now on sale for 19 of New York City’s most popular Broadway shows from January 22 to February 7, 2013.

The 2013 Palm Springs International Film Festival kicks off tomorrow at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The 11 day fest and will include over 200 films from 60 countries.
On Saturday, Jan. 5, Richard Gere and Naomi Watts will among those honored at the annual black tie awards gala. Other highlights of the fest will include a screening of Les Misérables with director Tom Hooper, who will receive the Sonny Bono Visionary Award, and a discussion with Alan Cumming about his latest movie, Any Day Now.

The Spoleto Festival USA has just announced its program lineup for 2013, ranging from Greek tragedy to graphic novels.
The 37th season of the fest, taking place at various venues in Charleston, SC, runs from May 24th through June 9th and features 160 performances by 45 artistic ensembles in various genres.
Time is running out to catch the Machinima Interactive Film Festival (MIFF), which is simultaneously featuring never before seen content online both at their official site and offline at iam8bit studios in Los Angeles.
The show, which runs through December 9th, 2012, is a collaboration between the video entertainment network Machinima, iam8bit, YouTube filmmakers, and the audience.
This week the Savannah Stopover Music Festival announced its 2013 line-up including of Montreal, The Whigs, Mac DeMarco + Merchandise, Mac DeMarco, and Ducktails.
