The Solaris Winter Festival is returning to Toronto this winter where headliners Kaskade and Skrillex will be joined by Adventure Club, Boys Noize, Tchami, 31au, and many more acts for two days of non-stop EDM.
The event will take place on Friday, December 26 and Saturday, December 27 at the Direct Energy Centre. General Admission tickets are still available for CAD $129.50. Tickets can be purchased online at inktickets.com. All tickets are two-day passes.

On Friday, Nov. 21, Graceland will hold a holiday lighting ceremony that would make Elvis proud.
The event will include everything from a Santa in a red jumpsuit to a life-size nativity scene that is part of the Presley family's traditional Christmas décor. All of the night's festivities will be hosted by John Stamos, who will be joined by patients from Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis. Stamos is also the voice of the new Graceland iPad Tour.
The cast of Dancing With The Stars is bringing their hit show on the road. Last week ABC announced the show's best dancers -including Kym Johnson, Keo Motsepe, Sasha Farber, Mark Ballas, and Witney Carson - will embark on a 38-city North American tour next month.

This week Hollywood is going to get a little scarier.
Screamfest, the world's biggest horror film festival, kicks off tonight at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres and will feature up and coming horror directors while also honoring the best in the biz.
The festival has earned a reputation for finding the next best next thing in horror. Back in 2007 they showcased the then little known independent movie Paranormal Activity which went on the earn more than $60 million at the box office in its first month.

Most cities across the U.S. have some type of haunted attraction that pops up this time of year, but some stand out above the rest. Sadly, one of the best over-the-top, scare your pants off haunted houses is closing for good next month.
Co-founder Ross Karpelman has confirmed this will be the last season for The House of Shock in New Orleans. "We were trendsetters without trying to be," Karpelman said. "We made our mark. Now I'm seeing others doing the same thing. We invented the idea of the interactive haunted house. It's time to call it quits."
This weekend the American Royal World Series of Barbecue returns to Kansas City, MO where carnivores will spend four glorious days celebrating meat.
The event attracts more than 550 teams competing in four categories, making it the largest barbecue contest in the world. Along with the competition, there will be a food expo, cooking demos, and live music. The meats in competition might not be available for sampling but there will be plenty of vendors dishing up eats and drinks in the food court each day.

Hugh Hefner is getting ready to welcome the world's sexiest ghosts and ghouls to the annual Playboy Halloween Party.
The Official Playboy Halloween Party at the Playboy Mansion, taking place on Oct. 25, is known for its haunted houses, spooky performers, musical guests, good eats and, of course, open bars.
As usual, the event is put on by Karma and though the most affordable (as in four-figure) tickets are sold out, there's still a few "VIP" packages in the low five-figures, if you're keen to see with the inside of the infamous mansion looks like. Spoiler alert: VICE found it depressing.

Oktoberfest in Munich begins September 20 and ends October 5. Looking at the calendar, that's a scant 10 days until the tapping of the first keg! Despite what you may be thinking, it's still not too late to make the decision to finally "do" Oktoberfest this year.
During the festival, the city's Theresienwiese event grounds (or simply "Wiesn" for short) will be teeming with tens of thousands of revelers daily, traveling from beer tent to champagne tent, to schnapps booth. Champagne tent?! Schnapps booth?! Yes, there are special zones and kiosks for all traditional German alcohols, but beer is the chief interest and, as such, the big-name beer tents fill up early in the day.
