Will the Cast of Gossip Girl Only Like Hilary Duff For Her NYU Discounts?
While the real kids of the NYC prep school scene are still enjoying their last few weeks of vacation in the Hamptons or Saint-Tropez, the cast of Gossip Girl is back filming on the Upper East Side and this season they will be joined by Hilary Duff.
The Duffster was on set yesterday, preparing for her role which according to Celebrity-Gossip.net is that of a movie star who enrolls in classes at NYU in hopes of getting a typical college experience. Hmm...can you say Olsen twins. Duff's character will also take an interest in Dan Humphrey.
Meanwhile, the real new class of NYU students will arrive in just a few weeks and the Student Resource Center is dedicated to helping them adjust to being on their own in the big city. However, if you're visiting an NYU student this fall you might want to see what kind of tourist hook-ups they can get you.

New Jersey: Hilary Shivers For Her Art
Brrrr! It's a cold day at the beach for Hilary Duff, who's in New Jersey for the next few weeks filming on the now-frigid public beaches of the famed Jersey Shore. Despite warmer-than-average temperatures this fall along the Eastern Seaboard, running into the water can't be pleasant. (See the arm of the wet-suited guard from the right side; what wouldn't Hilary give for a flesh-colored wetsuit!)
Duff's film, "Greta," depicts a summer romance among teenagers working at a restaurant "down the Shore." Check her out in Ocean Grove, Neptune and Asbury Park, along with costars Martin Sheen, Ellen Burstyn and Ellen Barkin.
