Ed Westwick recently got caught rocking some serious argyle on the Hamptons set of "Gossip Girl," currently shooting its second season.
While the shorty-shorts Westwick has been sporting in his off hours put off more than one of us, his fans can take comfort that the Brit will be hanging around New York for much of the summer as filming continues.

Blake Lively has been filming in Connecticut with Robin Wright Penn, but on screen she's in Greece with her three best friends in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" (out in August).
Matthew Settle, who plays her ex's dad, Rufus, is in Austin, Texas playing a bad ex-boyfriend to Joey Lauren Adams in the comedy "The Ex-Terminators."
And mysterious Chuck (Ed Westwick) is filming the dreaded sequel to "Donnie Darko," "S. Darko," in an undisclosed location. Hey, let's go look for him in our seersucker blimp! Martinis for everyone!
You can tell that Connor "Eric Van Der Woodsen" Paolo and Kelly "Lily Bass" Rutherford aren't mother and son in real life, because he just doesn't look sheepish enough about accompanying her to the Step UP Women's Network Inspiration Awards in Beverly Hills this weekend. (Unexpected bonus: No awkward family dinners where your sister's friend tells Mom you're gay!)
Rutherford was being honored for her work with the charity, which funds women's health programs and professional development for underprivileged girls. So how is Eric spending his summer vacation? Well, given that he attends the Professional Performing Arts high school in Manhattan along with "GG" costar Taylor Momsen, maybe he deserves a break from studying and working. (The school counts Claire Danes and Alicia Keys among its alums.)
Her character may have given up on being the queen bee of Constance Billard, but Taylor Momsen of "Gossip Girl" looked more glamorous than her 14 years at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York on Monday night.
"Gossip Girl" may have ended its first season on Monday, but the cast-chasing will continue all summer long: We're just too used to tipping off our readers of the cast's whereabouts! You know you love us.
Previously: The gang all got back together to save Serena, but they couldn't keep her boyfriend Dan from straying... to Georgina. Also, Serena left some guy to die but it's all OK now! And Lily and Rufus were drawn back together again, on the eve of her wedding to Chuck's father Bart Bass.
Wedding today! Wedding today! And the bride wakes up... in Rufus' arms? Oops. Lily runs after Bart, who compares her love for Rufus to a building he bought a long time ago but thinks he should sell off. Subtle!
But despite an eleventh-hour appeal by Rufus, Lily marries Bart and the Van der Bartsen monolith is created at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, on (naturally) the Upper East Side. Rufus goes on tour for the summer, not bothering to hide his broken heart at all. (By the way, the CW's promos for the new "90210" feature an English teacher who could be Matthew Settle'stwin. Do we have room for two guilty pleasures next fall?)
While the wedding goes off without a hitch, another couple is not so lucky. Serena goes to Brooklyn to apologize to Dan, only to find Georgina there--and still denying everything the other Upper East Siders are saying about her. Blair uses Dan as bait to trap Georgina in the park and informs Papa and Mama Sparks of her presence in New York. It's off to reform school for her! (Apparently G. once went to the same rehab as Lindsay Lohan...)
They may be so over as of this week's "Gossip Girl," but co-stars Penn Badgley and Blake Lively are nothing like bitter exes in real life--they recently took a vacation together to the Paraiso de la Bonita on the Riviera Maya, where they smooched in the pool like Dan and Georgina in Queens.
The much-bandied-about fact that Badgley and Lively were once home-schooled together is not the only thing that makes this photo creepy.
If you're worried about going into "Gossip Girl" withdrawal after next week's season finale, mark August 8 on your calendar and catch Lively in "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2," a flick about four best friends in the 'burbs whose preceding film she made long before the CW got her. It also costars former Gilmore Girl Alexis Bledel, Amber "Joan of Arcadia" Tamblyn and America Ferrera of "Ugly Betty"--a veritable television Who's Who.
Gossip Girl here. Looks like Georgina might not be so evil after all. She was spotted making friends with an older man in first class on a Virgin America flight earlier this week.
OK, forget it. We can't write in that annoying Gossip Girl voice (yay for that!) but we can tell you that Georgina, aka Michelle Trachtenberg, was flying in first on a Virgin America flight from LAX to JFK on Monday night.
We were about two rows behind her in the plebes section and we tried to get a shot of her. This is the best we could do. (We didn't want to get thrown off the plane!)
Michelle was nice to everyone around her, or so we observed and we did stare for quite some time. She didn't even do the whole "sunglasses at night" thing like a lot of other celebs do. She spent most of the flight talking to some older actor guy next to her who was/is on some soapy/drama show. We think he hit it big in the early 90s but we can't for the life of us remember who he is. Sorry guy.
Maybe Michelle can get you a spot on GG to boost your Q rating?
Previously: Georgina was evil, Georgina was evil, Georgina was totally evil. Also, Erik Van der Woodsen came out and Serena killed somebody.
This week we got the story behind Serena's 11th-hour confession, and oh boy, show, you have outdone yourself this time! We could never have predicted that the dirty dealings would go all the way back to the pilot. Genius!
So when Serena says she killed a guy, she's exaggerating a little. After the wild wedding at which she and Nate coupled, S. met Georgina at a hotel with their friend Pete. G. had planned to tape Pete and Serena having sex, but before they could, Pete overdosed. Serena called the paramedics while she was leaving, but they couldn't revive him.
S. skipped town and convinced her mom to send her to boarding school to cover up the big secret. But Georgina still has the tape--which includes some steamy footage of Serena and Pete making out--and is trying to blackmail Serena with it. Her plan falls apart when Blair stages an intervention.
Unfortunately this could not stop the kudzu-like evil of Georgina from spreading. Where did this atrocious photo come from? Your answer, after the jump.
