How to Get Tickets To 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Few people saw Ellen DeGeneres' second-coming as an entertainer when her talk show launched in 2003. Now, though, she's adored by many for her signature dance, relaxed interviewing style, and ability to deliver a killer commencement speech, making tickets to Ellen seemingly impossible to come by. The best you can do is try your luck via the booking process, which we're going to walk you through step-by-step. Demand for certain days and times, and your degree of luck, will ultimately determine whether you'll sit in as an audience member.
First, you'll have to consult the online calendar to see if there are open dates in the near future. Already this is problematic. We tried scrolling across dates in December and January and weren't allowed to click on any, which tells us that they're either not open for request yet, or they're full.

Ellen DeGeneres Is Onboard With Delta's Tail Widget Circumcision
Ellen DeGeneres, American Express and Delta Air Lines are going airborne with the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".
Inspired by Jamiroquai, and the rumors of Digg on Virgin America (on a side-note, can someone tell us if the Diggnation Virgin America booze flight broadcast is ever going to happen?), Ellen will host a special edition of her show onboard a Delta Air Lines' 767-400 flight traveling from Los Angeles to New York this Friday, May 18. The show is scheduled to air on Tuesday, May 22.
Ellen will keep the traveling audience entertained from coast to coast in this intimate setting, interacting and interviewing passengers, including actress Allison Janney. During the flight, Ellen and the Delta flight crew will highlight for the onboard audience ways in which American Express offers the ultimate in stress-free travel.
God, let's hope Peter Greenberg is on the flight and lets loose with his patented caffeine tongue. Better yet, someone get Ann Curry on that flight, if we want to know what someone on network television really thinks of Delta's "stress-free travel" claims.
