Reese and Jake See The Piano Men in Philly

Along with sun and sand and summer cocktails, summertime means great outdoor concerts and lovebirds Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon have been taking advantage of outdoor concerts from coast to coast.
Last month, the ridiculously good-looking duo were spotted at the Van Morrison concert at the Hollywood Bowl and this past Saturday, they took her two kids to the Billy Joel/Elton John concert at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia.
JustJared.com says :
Deacon had the best view in the house, sitting stop Jake’s shoulders. During the 3-1/2 hour show, Elton dedicated the song “Tiny Dancer” to Reese, saying, “Reese, this one’s for you, girl.”
The happy family danced to “Crocodile Rock” with Reese and Jake bumping their hips together.
Bumping their hips together? Well, we guess they were trying to keep it all "kid-friendly."

Summer Concerts An Added Bonus At Universal Orlando
If waiting in a long line for your shot to ride the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is not your idea of a good time at Universal Studios Orlando, then you might want to consider some of their summertime entertainment. The Summer Concert Series kicks off on June 13 with a concert by Jordin Sparks, and admission is included in your daily park pass—no need to shell out any additional cash.
Things continue with performances by LL Cool J on June 20 and Natasha Bedingfield on June 27. Even The O’Jays cruise into town over the Independence Day holiday weekend to help celebrate and kickoff the fireworks displays.
Apparently park officials aren’t too familiar with a calendar, as the concert series ends without anything else planned for July and nothing at all for August. Well, we guess it’s better than nothing.

Britney Spears' Circus May Leave Town Sooner Than Planned
Only elephants work for peanuts: Britney Spears' long-awaited comeback tour likely won't get the worldwide extension promoters were looking for due to, you guessed it, the bad economy.
Spears set off March 3 from New Orleans on a 49-stop tour that included Canada and London, and producers were hoping the continual cloud of drama which separates Brit from the rest of us would part long enough to later add on dates in Europe and Asia and perhaps another round of shows in the U.S.
And despite rumors of a reunion with Kevin Federline and a summons to testify against one of her former hangers-on in a lawsuit brought by her dad, Spears was holding up her end of the deal. The girl just can't catch a break!
While promoters are mum on whether any of the existing shows will be canceled, it's always a possibility, so keep reading superlative sites like this one to keep abreast of the news. Ticketmaster is handling all the sales, but their cancellation policy is actually quite decent -- though you'll have to mail your would-be treasures back in in the event of a canceled show. The last time this happened to us, though, we got our refund in about three weeks.

Will We Be Able To Hear Live Music for Less?
Here's the best news we've heard about the economic crisis in a long time: It may end up tempering the Ticketmaster/Live Nation reign of terror. The AP reported yesterday that singer Keith Urban had reduced the prices of some tickets on his upcoming summer tour to $20 to court recession-battered concert-goers. Turns out it's hard to justify those ticket prices -- who knew?
And more artists might be headed down that road soon. Ticketmaster used to offer music lovers who bought a concert ticket a free iTunes download; now No Doubt is offering a digital download of all their music with a $42.50 ticket. And New Jersey's All Points West Festival has a layaway option by which you pay for your ticket in 2 or 3 installments before the July 31-August 2 concerts, which feature artists like the Beastie Boys and Coldplay and comedic side stages.

U2's 360 Tour Will Kick Off in Barcelona This June

While some music festivals are dying including Spain's popular Summercase, the U2 360 Tour will certainly bring out thousands of fans in Barcelona on June 30th.
The band will play at Nou Camp Stadium, home to the FC Barcelona football team, before continuing on its European leg of the tour which finishes at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22. Then the US leg will kick off on September 12 at Chicago's Soldier Field with surprisingly affordable ticket prices, too.
Tickets for some tour dates are currently on presale today through Thursday but the presale for the Barcelona concert has ended. Similarly, a lot of other shows are already sold-out and random ticket sites have already begun offering tickets for exorbitant prices. Still, we bet U2 will release more tickets as the dates get closer.
If you're planning on seeing U2 in Barcelona, the Nou Camp stadium can be reached from the heart of Barcelona (about three miles away) via the Metro or Bus. And while Barcelona has plenty of cool hotels, we personally have to recommend the Hotel Omm situated along the city's swank Paseo de Gracia. Currently rooms are going for 240 Euros from June 29-July 1.

Only 44 More Opportunities to See The Britney Spears 'Circus'
Everyone's favorite trainwreck on a comeback opened her world tour last night near her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. It may not be the kind of "Circus" that you can take a kid to to see jugglers and elephants, although Britney Spears threw in some clowns with nunchucks and acrobats in case anyone in the audience was looking for that.
Should you brave the slings and arrows of the World of Spears? We haven't been yet, but the reviews are filled with faint praise and pats on the back for Brit to have emerged after her five-year hiatus from touring.
