New Zealand Preps for 'The Hobbit' with Tours, Museums, and a Couple of Planes
Fans of The Hobbit had plenty to be thankful for at San Diego Comic-Con. Of course there was the Hall H panel that included the debut of four full scenes from the films, but fans also got a peek at some of the Hobbit-themed tourist attractions getting ready for the first film's debut later this year.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey doesn't hit theaters until December 14, but the Hobbiton Movie Set Tours are already gearing up for the influx of fans expected to visit Hobbiton this year. Sunday marked the close of another Comic-Con and, more importantly, the end of the endless waiting.
We were there and here's what we've learned about queuing up at the Con:
If you're hoping to get into a panel in Ballroom 20, allow at least an hour and a half for the wait in line. We missed a panel on Saturday after arriving with only 45 minutes to spare. And for events taking place in Hall H, you might want to get there the night before to secure your spot in 6,000-seat venue.

How To Get Tickets To This Weekend's WonderCon
WonderCon, which is kinda like Comic-Con's warm-up act, is taking place this weekend in Southern California.
This year, along with appearances by legends of the comic, anima and sci-fi worlds, there are also several Hollywood Panels scheduled including 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, Resident Evil; Retribution and The Amazing Spider-Man with Emma Stone.
And, for the first time, WonderCon, which is usually held in San Francisco, will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center. To celebrate the show's change of venue, some of the area's other local attractions are offering badgeholders special perks.
