Flying to the resort town of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic? You have more than just nature to thank for its beauty.

Fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, who passed away last night at the age of 82, was one of the major partners behind developing the area. de la Renta, who was born in Santo Domingo and grew up in the Dominican Republic before leaving for Paris at 18 to pursue art, first made Casa de Campo famous and then moved on to develop his own enclave at Punta Cana.

Oprah Winfrey and Robert Pattinson embarked on two very different European shopping sprees this week.

On Tuesday, Pattinson and his girlfriend FKA Twigs perused the clothing racks at Harmony in Paris, a retail store that carries mostly casual clothing for men and women. The couple, who were traveling through the city alone, was spotted laughing and trying on clothes before they moved onto a few other shops in the trendy Marais district.

Adam Sandler has just announced he will produce and star in four feature films exclusively for Netflix.

"I tried to sign up for Netflix but this happened instead...", Sandler tweeted, along with a press release describing the deal.

According to Netflix, Sandler is "among the few actors in the world whose films consistently rank among the most viewed by Netflix members."

John Travolta Takes Video Cameras Inside His Backyard Airport

It's no secret that John Travolta has his own private piece of airport, but this week marked the first time he let the media in. John invited his good friend Richard Wilkins of Australia's Today Show over to his mansion in Jumbolair, an exclusive neighborhood outside of Ocala, Florida, where avid pilots may park their aircraft right outside their home.

During the interview Wilkins pointed out, "some of us are lucky enough to have a driveway leading up to our property, but this gentleman has not one, but two runways up to his house."

This is the scenario which inspired Nike to team up with Seattle-based design firm Teague to conceptualize a private jet specially for professional sports teams. Of course that's all it is right now—a concept—but the basics and beyond are there to turn a plane like the 787 Dreamliner into the ultimate home team machine.
