Camels, Belly Dances, And Cactus Tacos Wrap Up Season One With Bridget

This week, Bridget's back in Morocco and hopping a ride on a camel named Scooby-Doo, in addition to revisiting Mexico to see what’s shaking south of Cancun in Tulum. As always, Bridget does her best to give us the scoop on the local scene while making sure to throw in a little entertainment for us at home as well.

This week’s first stop is the modern coastal city of Agadir, Morocco. After checking into the posh Sofitel Agadir Royal Bay Resort to change into something a little more comfortable, she hits the beach. At this point, she’s seen so many beaches that she got a little bored and headed back to the hotel to get a henna tattoo while catching some rays. Thankfully she resisted getting the Playboy bunny, and chose a traditional design.

Bridget Takes Morocco, And Of Course Cancun

For the last couple weeks we’ve been in the same countries with Bridget, but finally we’re off to a couple new locations. Enough of our complaining, as exotic Essaouira, Morocco and Cancun are on this week’s agenda. How can we loose with impromptu dance parties in the street, horseback riding, and parasailing off the coast of Mexico?

Bridget’s first stop this week is to Morocco, which she describes as a place straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Joined by gal-pal Pilar Lastra, the two take in the sights and sales of the medina, along with an actor whom they refer to as “Moroccan George Clooney.” Within this market they try on plenty of shirts and shoes, and they surprisingly do a great job haggling to get a good price.

Munching On Key Limes And Coconuts in Key West and Costa Rica

And we’re back in Costa Rica and Florida again this week, thanks to the show's new format of spreading destinations across episodes. It’s a little disappointing since we were already there with Bridget last week, but at least there were new things to see in Key West, like a spooky ghost tour and some relaxing spa time outside Arenal National Park in Costa Rica.

The show starts off with a little river rapids adventure with pal Amber Campisi. The current didn’t look very rough to us at home, but the frequent and abrupt camera angle changes made it feel like we were right there with them. The overzealous tour guide was the highlight of the journey, as he threatened to tip the raft and spun them around silly, although he wasn’t as bold as some of the locals who jumped into the river from a rope bridge. Thankfully everyone stayed pretty dry, and the raft stayed upright the whole time.

Bridget Returns With The Sights Of South Beach And Playa Jaco

We’ve been a little depressed without Bridget Marquardt, and thankfully she’s back in action this week. However, the powers that be have decided to split up her weekly adventures into two half-hour spots. That means less time in each location, but at least we get to see our favorite bikini-ed travel lady in two places. This week she’s in Miami eating alligator tail and in Playa Jaco, Costa Rica for some shoreline horseback riding.

With a couple local beauty queens by her side, Bridget checks out South Beach and then quickly yachts it over to The Fontainebleau where George Hamilton tries his best to work his game on her. Since flirting with old dudes is her forte, she chats him up, but quickly heads elsewhere for some local adventure in the Everglades aboard an airboat. There’s plenty of alligators to freak out Bridget’s pals, but our host does her best to stay cool.

Bridget Reunites with The Bunnies for SoCal Beach Tour

This week Bridget Marquardt met up with some of her former roommates from the mansion as she hits the hotspots of Southern California. Although we love California, it just doesn’t have the same appeal as some of her more exotic locations. Nonetheless, she kept us more than entertained with her dog fashion show, trapeze lessons, sand sculptures, and a Baywatch-style run along the beach.

Bridget Says Aloha To Helicopters, Hang Gliders, And Hawaii

Ever since we got to talk with Bridget Marquardt last week, we’ve been looking forward to this week’s episode from Hawaii. She teamed up with Miss Hawaii 2009, Aureana Tseu, who brought some local flare to Bridget’s adventures through the Aloha State. There was plenty of hula dancing, hiking to waterfalls, and even swimming with the sharks—there was a cage, don’t worry.

Thursday (well, Friday now) has arrived, and we're off to another location with Bridget Marquardt and her crew of global crusaders. Too bad once again we are alone on the couch, wishing that we were right along side her on the shores of Spain.

Our host is again going it alone in her exploration missions—no outsiders trying to steal the show from her like last week. She meets up with locals one way or another to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of Spain.

Bridget Hunts for Conch On Turks And Caicos

Cue the awful theme song; we’re off to another sexy beach location with Bridget Marquardt. Forget Jamaica and Australia, this week we’re taking in the Turks and Caicos with the buxom beauty. After a quick geography lesson—the islands were part of the Bahamas until the 1970s—we were off to explore what they have to offer. After of course, checking out the pool bar at Nikki Beach Hotel that had some lady dancing on it—we’ll have what she’s having.

Bridget Takes On Jamaica And Learns The Rasta Way

We missed Bridget checking out Croatia last week, but we figured we’d give her and the show a second shot when they traveled to Jamaica. They were all over the island, but came and went from Negril a couple of times. This week she swam with dolphins, drank with some old rich dude (not Hef), and ate jerk chicken and some starchy fruit that she barely choked down. With all the costume changes she does, mostly bikini focused of course, we can tell that she definitely pays extra to check two bags.

Bridget's 'Sexiest Beaches' Is Not Exactly Blowing Our Minds

If there's one thing we can say for Bridget's Sexiest Beaches, it's truth in advertising. Two minutes into the new Travel Channel show and the host is standing by the beach trying on skimpy bikinis. But our interest kind of peaked there.

Bridget's first trip is to Australia, but if you were looking for hot tips on remote undiscovered beach coves, you've come to the wrong place. Bridget's show is more along the lines of sitting on a crowded strip of Bondi Beach, tasting Vegemite and talking about how cute koalas are. OK, sand tobogganing sounds pretty awesome, but mostly we just felt like Bridget was reading from the front page of a Frommer's Guide.

If you're looking for a one-hour montage of beautiful Aussie beaches and babes in bikinis, then BSB surely delivers. But for the Travel Channel, we were hoping she'd get a little more under the radar. Maybe she'll impress us more next week in Croatia.
