U2's Secret Gig at Fordham University

U2 may be making a special appearance in the Bronx this week. According to The Hartford Courant, Bono and Co. will be filming a segment for "Good Morning America" at Fordham University on Friday as a promotional stint for their new album, "No Line on the Horizon", which drops tomorrow.

Reportedly, the secret gig is open to Fordham students and staff only. The Courant also reports that professors have been asked to cancel all Friday morning classes for security reasons though the University and ABC refuse to confirm the concert.

The Fordham University event may only be a rumor at this point but we know for certain the band will be appearing on "The Late Show with David Letterman" every night this week. The bad news is, tickets are given out several weeks in advance.

Bono Behaves Like Rock Star For Once

Those New York Times columnists think they can do anything! Bono set down his application for sainthood this weekend and posed for pictures with some 19-year-old "friends" at the Nikki Beach bar in St-Tropez.

The singer legally known as Paul Hewson met up with Hannah Emerson and Andrea Feick, two students living in London and Paris, for a party aboard The Edge's deluxe yacht about a month ago, but were spotted when Feick, American by birth, predictably put the photos up on her Facebook account.

Feick insists that while she met Bono in a club a few years ago, that they're just friends because he's too old for her. We'll see how far that argument flies with the U2 singer's wife Ali, with whom he launched a fashion line last year. Between its appearance in the Eliot Spitzer scandal and now behind Bono's bimbos, is St. Tropez getting tawdry? Or is the French Riviera experiencing a new democratization of entertainment?

Lindsay Stands Up Bono at the Hudson Hotel

The ever-sunglasses clad Bono was in New York this week to host a party at the Hudson Hotel and got stood up by the party girl du jour herself, Lindsay Lohan-gasp!

Bono was hosting a party for his ONE nonprofit organization and wife Ali's clothing line Edun (Nude spelled backwards) and fully anticipated Ms. Lohan to show at his gig. When she didn't, he wussed out and talked her up in hopes she'd show, saying, "I knew she was smart and savvy but when people use their star power for people who have no power at all, it always inspires me."

And yet, she's standing up your party to benefit your non-profit. And using her power to instead get free designer outfits to wear to clubs. Hm. Is no one ballsy enough to cross La Lohan?
