New Airline Alert: Odyssey Airlines Crowd-Funds for Premium Flights

Major long-haul international flights to London usually find themselves landing at London-Heathrow, but this won't be the case for Odyssey Airlines, if their hopes and dreams come true. The new airline is planning to fly passengers from London's very conveniently located London City Airport across the Atlantic.

Naturally the convenience of an airport near the city center does warrant a higher price tag, and Odyssey is looking to outfit the Bombardier CSeries aircraft with an all-business class configuration.

Bombardier is Just Like Airbus and Boeing, At Least When It Comes to Airplane Delays

By now, you’re probably very familiar with the Boeing 787 along with its delays, and you’ve also heard about how things aren’t exactly going full speed ahead for Airbus and their A350. However, there’s another new airplane that still working its way off the drawing board, and it too is facing similar slow downs.

Bombardier is trying their best to get things up in the air when it comes to their latest airplane, but everything isn't quite going exactly to plan. The Bombardier CSeries is scheduled to come in a couple different flavors with the CS100 holding around 110 passengers and the CS300 carrying roughly 130 passengers. Initially the first flights were scheduled for the second half of 2012, but even after Bombardier confirmed things were on schedule for this December—we’re not so sure.
