Who's Up For An Exorbitantly Priced Way To Get Rid Of Pimples On The Go?

The no!no! Skin beauty product is being pitched by its makers as - and this is a quote - "just like the iPod, poised to be the must-have travel accessory for jet-setters everywhere." Before you scoff at the prospect of an acne removal tool being "just like" the device that literally transformed the way homo sapiens interact with sound, consider these similarities: they're both battery powered, they both fit in your pocket, and they both cost upwards of $150. To be precise the no!no! Skin, costs $180, which is about what an 8gb iPod touch is going for on Amazon. See?
The no!no! Skin uses "Light & Heat Energy (LHE®) technology" to treat your acne. Depending on whether you're reading the website or the press release, the device zaps away your zits in either 24 hours or 55% faster than if you hadn't sprayed your face with light. We actually had a rant about the kind of travel gear marketing team that would invent the phrase "Light & Heat Energy (LHE®) technology," then have the nerve to slap a registration symbol on it, then use it in their advertisements. But we get the feeling that we're just trying your patience at this point.

Adventures of Link: Doctor Fish in the News Again
The AP brings us news today of a promising new trend in spa technology: garra rufa fish. Of course, we've covered these so-called doctor fish before, and YouTube is, uh, stocked with videos of the critters.
The flesh-eating fish first popped up in Turkey, where they'd nibble the dead skin off the feet of spa-goers. The trend then spread to Asia and even Croatia. Yvonne Hair and Nail in Alexandria, Virginia claims to be the only place you can take the plunge in the US.

Asian Spa Fish Feast on Human Flesh
Fishy foot baths are all the rage in spas throughout the Far East. The bizarre trend started in Turkey where people pay to be immersed in a pool teeming with "doctor fish" that eat away at dead skin.
The treatment, which is also known as "fish reflexology," apparently results in super-smooth feet. Recently, doctor fish spas have popped up in Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore and Croatia. After the jump, check out video footage of these flesh-eating fish in action.
