What's in Barbie's London Fashion Week Carry-On Bag?

It wasn't all that long ago we established that the plastic fashion doll Barbie does, in fact, have a passport. This month she's putting it to good use, hopping from Fashion Week to Fashion Week and posting her adventures to a @barbiestyle Instagram account.

In and amongst the faux-streetstyle shots of Barbie and her appearances in front rows, she's organizing her upcoming travel. Next: the start of London Fashion Week, for which she's flying British Airways with a carry-on expertly packed.

Just as any fashion person cannot resist a good what's-in-my-stylish-luggage Instagram snap, Barbie was sure to post her carry-on contents:

Barbie Has a Passport, a Fact Which is Actually Causing Controversy

She's been a veterinarian, an Olympic gymnast, a marine biologist, an 80s rock star, a mermaid and the president (many times over). She's Barbie, and her range is even unencumbered by nationality. The newest Barbies are additions to the classic "Dolls of the World" collection, and one in particular is causing quite the uproar.

A "Mexico Barbie," complete with a traditional Mexican dress and a pet chihuahua, has a passport has an accessory. Yikes.

A Barbie-tini in the Barbie Cafe

Had a long day of walking around Shanghai, visiting the giant World Expo? Add another one-of-a-kind place to your visit then, perhaps with a treatment at the world's only Barbie Spa.

Last year, a Barbie Flagship store complete with Barbie Cafe, Barbie Boutique and Barbie Chocolate Bar opened in Huaihai Road in the Fashion District, but it's only recently that we've discovered that the two-storied, 35,000-square-foot place also contains a Barbie Spa. Order a Barbie-tini and a Barbie body scrub, and let's just hope that neither contains contains bits o' Barbie.
