According to the comments on tech gossip site Valleywag, Tyler, of James and Tyler is the son of Buck's Cafe owner Jamis MacNiven.
Not true. Why is this important? Two reasons.
First, Valleywag has the wrong Tyler. Tyler MacNiven, not Tyler Denk is the son of the Buck's of Woodside owner. Tyler Denk, was one of the winners of Amazing Race 10, while Tyler MacNiven was part of the hippie duo that won Amazing Race 9. They are both pictured semi-nude above, we will let y'all figure out who's who.
Second, the son of the Buck's Cafe owner doesn't need the one million dollar Amazing Race prize. Tyler Mac's dad has most definitely got in on plenty of friend's and family pre-ipo shares--from Google to EBay, we are guessing. On the contrary, Tyler Denk, the real recovering drug addict, most definitely could use the cash. According to the internets, Tyler Denk was homeless and extremely poor when he was "discovered" by a photographer and became a male model.
As for Buck's Cafe, the Woodside venture capitalist haunt is definitely Jaunted post worthy, but you will have to wait on that one, after all, we think you will agree, setting the record straight on the Amazing Race Tylers is far more important than what Bill Gurley eats for breakfast.

It's been an amazing thirteen weeks of television, kids! Alliances have been created and then broken, teams have been burdened with vehicular mishaps and tough physical challenges...some teams grew closer, and some utterly dissolved. Lyn and Karlyn have persevered to become the first all-female team in Amazing Race history (and what a glorious history it is), while Tyler's and James' competitive spirit, physical prowess and awesome grooming propelled them into the final three. When we last left our intrepid racers, they were bedded down with some Bedouins just off the Road to Marrakech...literally. The models, Tyler and James, are off first admiring the Moroccan sunrise and plotting the demise of DuKat. What do tanks, tuxedos and Tchaikovsky have in common? They're all sullied on the latest episode of TAR. Only five teams are still racing, and the 'Bama girls are somehow still in this thing, but probably not for long. The Six Pack alliance--already without Dave and Mary--gets seriously tested in the Chernobyl glow. The Barbies--who've always been cutthroat--are looking to become the first female only team to win the race. Will nice guys Erwin and Godwin be able to hang? Will Rob and Kimberly overcome the car trouble that plagues them in the previews? And will we ever be able to mention tanks and Russian composers in the same sentence? Find out after the jump!

That's what Amazing Race contestants David and Mary are probably thinking as last week Rosie O'Donnell and the View gifted the ousted duo with a new three-bedroom house and a new car among other gifts, solely because Rosie loved how nice they were to their teammates and other people they encountered on the show. Nice haul, considering David and Mary used to live in a trailer (which Rosie promptly urged them to donate to someone who needs it).
The above clip is long, but things start to get good at the 5:30 mark when Rosie begins showering the couple with compliments, then gifts. Also, we learn that David actually tried out for Survivor first but they instead recommended him for Amazing Race--ouch. Given the number of mining and digging related challenges so far on the race, we'd say Dave ended up on the right show. With the amount of backstabbing Lyn and Karlyn of Team 'Bama are perpetrating, though, maybe a practice round with the Survivors would've come in handy.

After Dave and Mary's long-overdue exit last week, the Amazing Race is shaping up to be quite a contest, but we don't remember Dave and Mary dying, did they? Apparently things were getting a little too comfortable for the racers because this week the producers jump in with a brilliant new twist: the Intersection. Its a new challenge for the race and forces groups of frienemies to work together. Will the Barbies be forced to work together with their mortal enemies Lyn and Karlyn? Will the Cho Brothers stop being so gosh-darn lovable? Would coal-mining Dave and Mary make it to the pit stop in time to avoid elimination after coming in last a week ago?
