'Jersey Shore' Will First Conquer Your Television, Then Your Vacation

Have you thrown or attended a Jersey Shore party yet? Apparently they are all the rage, and not just in clubs where the cast is being tens of thousands of dollars to appear. People are throwing these parties in their own homes, voluntarily giving themselves "guidette poofs" with bumpits, or blowing out the Pauly D hair in good fun.

After last night's episode, we're sure that the parties will spread to whole weekend-long events, since the cast headed even further down the Shore for a mini-vacation at The Tropicana in Atlantic City. Not surprisingly, they found more girls to "pound out" and more guys to "smush."

Where Will 'Jersey Shore' Head For a Second Season?

What are your Thursday night plans? Either you're watching MTV's Jersey Shore or you aren't, and even if you aren't you're eventually battered with a recap of it or some news of the cast members partying it up at some point. The "guidos" are inescapable this season, and their fist-pumping antics and fake tans are money in the bank for MTV, so much so that the network is reportedly courting the cast for a second season at The Shore.

The possibility was first leaked by Vinny (far right in the photo), who was partying at La Pomme in New York City recently and flapping his mouth about it. Even if the show does return, we doubt they'll be heading back to Seaside Heights. They did pretty much everything last summer to make themselves notorious (and now hated), and Ronnie doesn't have anything good to say about the town right back:

When we first got there, everyone sees the cameras and they want to know who we are. So they were like, 'Welcome to Seaside. Welcome to Seaside.' But a few weeks later, people realized who we were and what was going on, it was like, 'Get the hell out of Seaside.'

So where will they go?...
