Remember Your iPad for Monarch's New In-Flight Entertainment

When it comes to in-flight entertainment we’ve seen more and more systems that require you to bring your device. Now there’s another carrier asking you to tote along your tablet, as Monarch Airlines and their MPlayer offers up all kinds of movies and other media straight to your iPad.
The MPlayer app is available in a few flavors from iOS to Android, and there’s both free content and those programs that you have to pay for. Just remember to download things before heading off to the airport, and we can only imagine that will help things go that much more smoothly.
Aerofi is the company behind the technology, and it’ll set flyers back around £4—just shy of $7—per flight. Music, television, movies, and more are just some of the items that you’ll be able to access, and on some flights there’s a handy dandy spot to stow your tablet right in the seat back in front of you.
The only downer is that Monarch Airlines mostly does their thing out of the United Kingdom to spots in and around Europe, so you’ll have to put in a little effort to test things out. However, we’re certainly up for the challenge.
