As for events the end of summer is hardly short on options. There’s an organized bar crawl, a 5K, and the Shelter Cove Farmers Market runs throughout October—understandably the growing season is a little more extended down here.
Obviously there’s also the water, and Coligny Beach might just be one of your best bets. There’s picnic shelters, a nice little path, changing areas, showers, and one of those fountains that shoots up from the ground to soak your kids—and maybe your significant other.
