This week it really is all fun and games in Brooklyn as the borough's very own comedy fest kicks off.

The Brooklyn Comedy Festival is taking place at multiple venues, including Brooklyn Brewery, The Knitting Factory, Baby's All Right, Glasslands, and The Rock Shop, and will feature dozens of comics from the world of sketch, standup, improv, and more through Aug. 24.

Along with appearances by Michael Che, Lucas Bros, Jermaine Fowler, Mark Normand, Sean Patton, Sasheer Zamata, Mike Lawrence, John Fugelsang, Nikki Glaser, and Dan Soder, the fest will also feature special editions of Brooklyn favorites like Game Night at Spike Hill, BackFat at 61 Local, and Cheap Date at Union Hall.

To help close things out, TV writers from The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver will share all the behind-the-scenes scoop in a special panel on Saturday.

Many of the BKCF shows are free and none are more than $10. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online through Eventbrite, Ticketfly, or the venues directly. To see a complete listing of all shows and buy tickets directly, visit bkcomedyfestival.com/schedule.
