See the World Via High-Flying Drones

Last week, we looked at a website that lets you build a travel itinerary via sound. But if a visual is still your cup of tea, then you'll love the Travel By Drone project.

It's a very simple website and concept, yet one that will have you addicted in no time. It features a huge video catalog of high-quality aerial footage captured by drones, providing a unique perspective on destinations around the world. Cities, natural landscape, and remote areas are all up for exploration. You can watch people paragliding, take a ride across a city skyline, or follow a moving train through the mountains.

You'll notice that those links all take you to YouTube or Vimeo, and that's because Travel By Drone is a site of aggregation. All videos are submitted by users but screened by Travel By Drone to ensure they are not commercial and adhere to the guidelines. When a video is uploaded to the site, a marker appears on the map, allowing you to search by location or simply browse the world as you would with Google Maps.

As you look for ways to make this Monday disappear, all we can say is, you're welcome.
