JetBlue announced this week that a new non-stop route from New York to Curaçao will debut on December 2nd, making it the only airline to offer non-stop flights between the two destinations.

Flights will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, departing New York at 9:00 a.m. and arriving on the island at 2:30 p.m. Return flights will depart Curaçao at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at 7:14 p.m.

To celebrate, the airline is offering a limited-time one-way fare of $139 for tickets purchased by next Wednesday, August 6th. The catch is that the travel must take place between December 2nd and February 10th, with blackout dates of December 20th through January 3rd.

Spending Christmas or New Years on Curacao would require a much longer stay given the blackout dates, but New Yorkers who fancy a winter Caribbean getaway might want to consider pulling the trigger on this deal (sounds like a hell of a Christmas gift to us).

Curacao has always been known as a great diving destination and has seen its general Caribbean appeal improve in recent years as its accessibility has increased.
