Certain performances and exhibits will set you back a few bucks, and that’s the case if you want to see some of the festival’s concerts—like appearances from the Gin Blossoms and Collective Soul. However, most of the other stuff is free to enjoy. Like the free shuttle to help you get around town, so that you can leave your car and not stress about finding a parking spot.
As for the cherries there’s obviously a lot of those. Enjoy a cherry pancake breakfast, try some local delicacies at the downtown farmers market, grab a slice during a cherry pie eating contest, and maybe try your luck at the cherry seed spitting contest.
So yeah—if you can swing a trip to Michigan this weekend this festival is a do not miss.
