Alaska Airlines' Pancake Machine Brings Breakfast Buzz to US Airports

There seems to be a little bit of buzz coming out of the Alaska Airlines Board Room, and it all has to do with a little bit of breakfast. Like plenty of airport and airline lounges the folks at Alaska Airlines put out a little bit of a morning spread, but here there’s also a little bit of breakfast technology hard at work.

The lounge’s pancake machine is well known, and after making its debut at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport the contraption has also found a home in Anchorage, Los Angeles, and Portland as well. You’ll need to access the Alaska Airlines Board Room to check things out, and thankfully they’re offering $10 off a day pass through the end of the month—that’s just $35 for the day.

Now we realize these pancake machines can be found elsewhere, as places like Qantas Clubs and hotel continental breakfasts have offered up printable pancakes—not to mention a good number of hotel breakfast buffets. However, Alaska Airlines does promise that they have their own special recipe and formulation for the batter, and it’s Monday and we’re hungry for some airport pancakes.
