Hello Kitty is turning 40 this year and Sanrio is inviting all of her fans to help her celebrate this fall.

Hello Kitty Con 2014 will celebrate all things Hello Kitty with exclusive merchandise, pop-up shops, panels and discussions, art installations, photo opps, costumes, workshops, tattoos, and other activities for fans of every age.

The first ever Hello Kitty Convention in the world will take place at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Downtown Los Angeles on Oct. 30 - Nov. 2.

Daily adult badges are $30 and can be ordered at showclix.com.

In addition to the convention, HK is also getting her very own museum exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles that will run from Oct. 11 through April 26, 2015. "Hello! Exploring The Supercute World Of Hello Kitty” is a retrospective of 40 years of Hello Kitty products and their influence on bridging Japanese and American cultures.
