The Three Best Fests for Live Music in June

After what seemed like the longest winter ever, it is finally and officially summer festival season!

Here's a look at three of the best music fests taking place in June (and all of them still have tickets available!):


This year Summerfest kicks off 11 days of music on June 25. With more than 800 acts across 11 stages, Summerfest is one of the world's largest music events.

Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley, and Luke Bryan, are among the 2014 headliners. Ticket information for these shows can be found at Ticketmaster.

Chicago Blues Festival

The Chicago Blues Festival, taking place in Grant Park on Jun 13 - 15, is the biggest of Chicago's fests with five stages and more than 50,000 fans attending annually. And the best part? It's free.

Bettye LaVette, Billy Boy Arnold, Dr. John, Aaron Neville and Nikki Hill headline.

Pink Pop

For 45 years the biggest names in music have graced the PinkPop stage. Every year during Pentecost weekend, celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter, Landgraaf, Netherlands comes alive with 60,000 music fans.

Metallica, John Mayer, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, and Arcade Fire are headlining the festival, taking place June 7-9.

Weekend passes are sold out but there are still tickets available for Sunday.
